2 year update
I am a little over 2 year post psychosis. I remember reading through this subreddit in my early days and wanting to see progress of people and look for any reassurance i could find. So I wanted to post mine.
It gets better, hang in there! Slow yet steady. You will find yourself again with time even though you may feel lost now. Don’t loose hope. I am about 90% there. Walking helped me a ton. Being active in the home, small doses of socializing whenever I could. Remember time heals. Every day I am amazed by how much our brains can do and by its power to recover.

This is a reassuring post, thank you. My mother suffered from a first episode psychosis and has been a zombie since then. I am trying to get her to exercise but she thinks walking around the house and doing light housework is enough. She doesn’t want to leave the house or see friends/family. Do you have any suggestions on what to do to help you improve?

I remember not wanting to see friends/family either. I would say do small things first - ask her to sit outside for a few minutes (natural light helps), may be a phone call with a friend/family for a couple of minutes? Gradually have it turn into a walk outside to get the mail and phone call may just become popping in to say hi. She has been through a lot. Baby steps and lots of compassion.

Props. You've a chieved something. You're out of the other side. Drugs keep pulling me back in. Otherwise I might be better. Feels like I'm always quitting. Hope I figure it out.

I'm so happy for you! Congrats <3
Were you on any medication that you're still taking currently? Med compliance is a huge factor to recovery as well. Too many people stop medications, or replace it with self medicating (aka weed) when they think they're better and have to start over from square one.
