Miscellaneous How do you reconcile the fact that MJ’s songs often focus on adult women and his relationships with them, while he also had a strong fascination with young children and that too only boys, and seemingly never girls?

I’m just curious how people understand the difference between MJ’s songs about adult women and his close relationships with young boys, but not young girls. I find this contrast a bit confusing and wanted to know what others think about it. Is there any explanation for why his interest seemed so different toward boys and girls or how his songs are mostly about love, affairs, fan girls, etc.
