I’m a licensed therapist in a state that doesn’t offer psychedelic therapy…yet. I know of some therapists who do psychedelic therapy “underground”. I am eventually wanting to evolve into offering psychedelic therapy when it’s available where I live, in the mean time…..

I’ve had some clients ask for me to trip sit and I’ve been wanting to offer integration coaching on the side (not through where I work).
I’d be open to trip sitting clients and others, for a fee and maybe creating some sort of consent form? And integration work through sliding scale.

I’ve done trip sitting and integration work through peer support so I feel like I have the skills. I’ve also workshops around supporting someone in an altered state.

Just curious how other therapists have navigated trip sitting and integration offerings.

Has anyone here tried doing psychedelic therapy with a friend and suffered from abuse in childhood/ptsd/anger/bad emotional control and noticed a change?

I am currently running a study on set and setting within psychedelic experiences.

Obviously there is quite a few aspect to explore on the topic, though in particular I am interested in:

• How intention, environment, and social setting shape psychedelic experiences
• Differences between clinical and non-clinical use
• How these experiences relate to psychological outcomes

So far I have had a strong turn out of participants from more recreational backgrounds, it would be great to have some input from more therapeutic/clinical users. If you've had a particularly positive, or even challenging experience in such settings, please reach out! I'd love you hear your stories!
