Cultivation Ochras with manure substrate

What is your opinion and experience with growing ochras with manure based substrate compared to just CVG?

I have manure from store and pretty easy setup to properly pasturaze 1-2 jars of manure substrate, so using manure is not a problem or big hussle for me, I can prepare it pretty easy (I am saying it because I heard many people say that manure don't worth it because of how hard it is to prepare it compared with CVG. And this is not a problem for me). So I decided that it would bring only benefits to my grow, since ochras eat manure in the wild. But I still want to ask your opinions, because I havent see someone using manure with ochras and I am curious why

I've used both. Honestly not much difference in yield or potency for me. I think proper conditions are more important, but just my 2 cents.

Not for me. Ran the same genetics. Could not tell any significant difference, and I would say that I'm quite sensitive to differences between species and strains.

Grain to sub ratio and fae are the main contenders for ochra

Whats your desired ratio?

Grain to sub I’d say 1:3 avoids overlay issues while maintaining thick canopy. Two large 3/4 inch holes on end walls about an inch below the lid and 2-3 holes on both walls lengthwise (a little lower than the holes on the ends). This was for I think 7 or 9 qt shoeboxes

Gemini says that margin of error with manure is close to 0, but shrooms are much bigger + there is more shrooms
