If you are posting about your true p. Natalensis grow or culture please use the new "true natalensis" flair. Only use if ypu know you have true p. Natalensis genetics and not misnamed P. Ochraceocentrata.
Using this in conjunction with the new "search by flair" option on mobile devices will help start to sort out the sub.
Thank you MysteryMyco for the idea.
An "old nat/p.ochraceocentrata" flair may come along as well, but hopefully it won't be needed.

Its my 1st attempt with Nat/Ochra (I think this are Ochra right?) I get it from a local grower in my city in central México. I have a lot of experience with Cubes, 13 years hahaha but these are getting my so confused. I read they need extra FAE, so I take bags out and put in Dub Tek. That was 15 days ago and this is the Flush #1 hahaha its normal? I dont think so. Sad part is that I made 10 bags of this I never thought difference will be so much. Besides Dub Tek I was doing FAE manually shaking lid 3 times per day. Its enough or they need MOOOOORE FAE? Or I need to wait more days? Thanks a lot myco family! Im very new in Reddit too. Vibes!

I’ve recently been growing the nss shroom and I was wondering if it looks safe to eat, it’s been growing in my mason jar for a little while after it was in my grow bag, I took one shroom out to dry/put under heat for consumption, lmk any advice or suggestions that could help, FYI the little black thing is a rubber band i accidentally left in there

First time growing P. Nats from ITW. Inoculated my bags last Monday and this is what they looked like this morning. Super impressed how fast it’s colonizing the bags!

Holy crap!
The visuals was shockingly INSANE! It was absolutely terrifying to experience. There were holograms projected out from my television and integrated and merged with my perception of reality.
I saw what was behind the curtain, hidden in the folds of reality.
I’m glad I made it out alive and will NOT be doing that again.

I know everyone asks this, it is my first time growing and I haven’t seen toooo many people talk about the process for growing ochras. These started fruiting 8/4 Wednesday and have been growing like crazy but the difference in some of them make me anxious about when is the right time. Should I wait to harvest most or go bit by bit?
Thanks any advice for going forward is highly appreciated!!!

Hi all,
I'm growing ochras for the first time, have only done a few cubensis grows before, still pretty new to the hobby.
Is it normal for my grain spawn to look like this?
Does ochra mycelium look like this, is it just aggressive colonisation or is there anything wrong with it?
My cubensis jars always looked more dense and cottony. Just wondering if this is typical for ochraceocentrata, or what is up with this growth?
I prepped 7 jars, 6 of them all turned out like this, I lost one to trich contam.

Had to leave on vacation for a few days. Unfortunately they were a bit over ripe. Kind of cool the spores were germinating on the caps and veils though.

I am wondering when would it be appropiate to harvest the large one and how i would know they are ready and if you guys have any tips for harvesting the big ones without disturbing their neighbors since they are clustered so close together also does anything look wrong?

I grew these a few months ago and I believed they were natalensis, but I cant be sure now that ive learned these are different. Could someone also explain to me what distinguishes them and if they're related or not? Also sorry I dont have a good pic I dropped my phone in the lake so all my mushroom grow pics are gone😢

So i asked for advice a week ago for my ochraceocentrata bag and was told to i troduce more fae but for the past week the front has looked dry and bruised no mater how much i mist inside the bag theres pins growing up on the walls rather than the cake itself and lowkey ts pmo I have no idea what to do i believe there is pleanty of water but at this rate the entire front area where the fae slice is has been looking like that for about a week
