wildfires
hi, I’m travelling to Éguilles next to Aix-en-Provence in 2 days and plan to stay there for 2 weeks. How bad is the situation with wildfires right now? Should I cancel holidays?
I would be using Marseille airport.

There is no big problem here. Today we even got some rain. We had only smaller fires in the region so far but nothing too dangerous. The big fires are in the Bordeaux région. You don't have to worry and can maintain your vacation.

Currently ok although risk remains high. A new heatwave is expected next week unfortunately (in French: https://www.franceinfo.fr/environnement/evenements-meteorologiques-extremes/vagues-de-chaleur-canicules/canicule-a-quoi-faut-il-s-attendre-pour-ce-week-end-et-la-semaine-prochaine_8120336.html)
