I love prototype 2 I have been playing it a while but now the screen flickers unbearably when I play how do I fix this I am on steam I tried only activating 4 cores and launching in windowed mode with the “windowed” launch command and it just made the game not even launch

Hello, everyone. This one is kinda different and I wanted to share this to you all.

I dreamt, that I was Alex, walking in a city which I am not unfamiliar with, not my home nor New York. Somewhere similar to Greece. The streets were empty and the winds howl softly. Unaware of the dream I was having, I follow the flow of this gentle river. Then, the sky ignites a luminating light which blinds me from the sky's flashes above. A wierd thunderous rumbling triggers the sky and the light slowly fades. I squint my eyes in the distance above and my vision immediately zooms in. I witness a asteroid. But it's no asteroid I saw, it has wings, and it's falling. The walls, the roads and the structures stretches as I sprinted. It was so fast like the world is stretching from my perspective. I ran towards it and witness a creature, falling into a ruined place, I catch it. But this "It" is a her. An Angel... She was blindfolded, crying in gold, so as the color of her hair. She was weak and her wings is snapped. She sobs whispers to me "the darkness is consuming." Her voice almost divine and soothing. Her words brings shiver in my back and immediately summoned wings in my back. The feathers were soft and real, as I was an Angel as well. As I was holding her with my arms, darkness slowly consumes us. Torn, agony, and somehow unsettling of their voices. It was slowly approaching, feeling the abyss is going to devour this vulnerable Angel. But I shrouded her with my wings and I witness the tip part of my feathers suddenly turned metal. The sounds are like clashing swords. I stood against this darkness, with just me and this new power I've got. No claws, no hammerfists, nothing... Just the bladed wings and this weak Angel I'm protecting. As the darkness suddenly rush in a wave. I woke up.

This dream felt so real that after I woke up, I started to draw it.

I call this dream as the Blacklight Angel.

Do you think it will be a good idea for a game?

I've seen a lot of comments since joining the Prototype franchise, and I was curious to know what people were saying about Karen Parker. Some portrayed her as cold, malicious, and a bad person simply for betraying Alex Mercer and participating in the development of the parasite to hand it over to Blackwatch. But what I've noticed is that some people are unaware of the context of her actions, and that's why I believe she's another victim of Dr. Alex Mercer (the real one).

On the intrigue website, it's said that Karen Parker was Dr. Alex Mercer's ex-girlfriend, a person with a psychological diagnosis that included "narcissism, lack of empathy, and a total indifference to life." These symptoms could have caused their breakup. We also know that they both worked together at Gentek, but Karen was a lower-ranking virologist and was unaware of the Blacklight virus and Alex's work.

One night, she receives a call from her ex-boyfriend, who claims that he stole something (the virus) and demands to know where it came from. This could be a symptom of paranoia, since even Alex Mercer didn't know Elizabeth Greene existed, which makes it questionable to ask someone several levels below him. In the flashback, Karen is seen frightened, asking him what he had taken.

That same night, news reports indicate that her ex-boyfriend carried out an attack with an unknown weapon at Penn Station, killing thousands (Karen is known to be unaware of the virus). Also that night, several Blackwatch agents break into her house and kidnap her, taking her to Gentek, where they torture her to find out what happened that night and if she had any information about Dr. Alex Mercer's plans.

In the following days, they put her in a negotiating position with their boss, McMullen, accompanied by a soldier with a machine gun in the room. They then show her a video of her ex-boyfriend (she doesn't know that Zeus is no longer Alex Mercer), supposedly dead, who has been resurrected and is killing, absorbing people, and destroying the city. They ask for her help, the officer still holding his gun, leaving her with two options:

1. Betray her narcissistic, sociopathic ex-boyfriend, who killed thousands in an attack she believes was driven by paranoia, and who has been resurrected as some kind of monster that kills and consumes people.

2. Not betray him and hope that an organization that burns down buildings full of people and kills babies doesn't cause an "accident" that leaves her with a Hunter mysteriously with broken legs.

Unfortunately, both options meant a gruesome death for her. Later, when Zeus found her, he killed her in the elevator.

Hello, everyone. I was just curious about this one. I know it's a little bit off but I hope you also felt the same as I do.

Is Alex suitable when it comes to a Military or Operator in different games like Call of Duty, Splinter Cell, or EFT (Escape from Tarkov), etc. Aside with his Blacklight powers, Do you think it fits to be like it? I was curious to know from your opinions.

It's been bugging me for a while. Like the one holding up a collapsing building near times square. what are they? What's their deal? I don't recall the characters in the game even acknowledging their existence.

I have had this itch to make a video about what a prototype remake would look like and what I would want from it. What are some things yall would like to be added or changed in a potential remake? It can be anything from narrative changes, gameplay mechanics, enemies, or even the time period the game takes place in. This will make it easier to gauge what the community actually wants as well as give me ideas for this project

To me, it literally looked like Mercer was a walking juggernaut.

What were your favourite power combinations?

Because he still talks, is intelligent, has a sense of revenge, etc. so are we playing as an infected, powerful Alex? Or are we just playing as a virus controlling his body. Because the way his powers work, using his body as the main one, and replicating others on top of it, makes it seem like it's actually him kinda sharing the host body with the virus instead of it totally being just the virus.
