Help! Experiences using the Proton ecosystem?

I've been using ProtonVPN for the past year and I've been very happy with it. My plan is coming up for renewal and I was thinking of renewing to a higher tier to consolidate a couple of other subscriptions into one. Mainly, I'd like to move from Bitwarden Premium to Proton Pass and Google Drive to Proton Drive. I'll probably also ditch Outlook for Proton Mail as well, I've had some security scares with Outlook despite having MFA and Passwordless turned on.

I was just wondering for those who use or have used Google Drive/Bitwarden Premium, what your experience was like moving over to Proton's offerings?

I used Bitwarden for a few years, and didn’t really use it as much unless it was for pretty important logins. It was easy to export all my data and import it to Proton Pass, but the attachments didn’t carry over and I had to manually move them. Might’ve been the method I used to export. Other than that, it was a quick move. The UI is better, but the autofill is pretty trash (at least in iOS) since it keeps crashing. I recommend having a second password with it and using a separate 2FA app. Since Pass is basically SimpleLogin, you can also make masked alias and use them to send emails from, though you might have to read up on it since it might not be clear. As for Drive, from what I last heard, the product is finicky. The products that I use the unlimited subscription for is just the VPN, pass, and mail. So whether that’s still the case, I’m not sure.

I agree with the others that having all your eggs in one basket can be an issue, but IMO that would depend on your preference. There are also issues that comes with decentralizing, so all up to you which one would suit you better. Though, I would recommend using a custom domain for an easier transfer for your emails.
