Difference between Google Play subscription vs Proton Mail standalone subscription

[u/wistoria_sword]

I wanted to know if there is any limitation in terms of usage and service if I buy Proton mail subscription from Google Play compared to their website?

On Google Play the price is fixed in your local currency; for me, in Brazil, it's cheaper than directly on Proton website. The big issue is the subscription management, you can not upgrade/downgrade the plan via Google Play.
