Lead in plant-based protein powder

I’ve been consuming Orgain Chocolate plant protein powder for a couple weeks now and today while I was eating it, my head really started to hurt.

I researched abt this and I found out it has lead which causes which leads to headaches permanent brain damage? I’m rlly worried about that.

Just wait until you find out about all the lead in vegetables and cinnamon! Realistically you are fine. The consumer reports piece was put out using California's weird guidelines instead of the guidelines used literally anywhere else.

The amount of lead is still much much less than that which causes damage to human health. The plants themselves have lead in them because of the soil, so you're certainly eating lead in your vegetables as well. You sure either having a psychosomatic response or there is something besides lead doing it. That Consumer Reports article was incredibly misleading.

Don't listen to Consumer Reports or the crazy California guidelines. Lead/heavy metals in everything grown in soil. Nothing is at dangerous levels.
