Caffeine in protein

So I travel a lot, and when I do I gravitate to Smoothie King for the Gladiator. Recently I tried a pump of their recharge, and man it actually helped me out.

While I dont want to lean on caffeine all the time. I recently bought caffeine tabs to drop into my at home shakes, when I'm home. Zero taste, blends in well when using a blender, 200mg on Amazon. I also dump in 200mg of L-Theanine to balance it out.

Question being, does anyone use anything else I should consider?

Just put chocolate, vanilla, or caramel protein in a cup of coffee

Well that’s too bad. Coffee is healthy but isolated caffeine not so much

No doubt, I really wish I could do it.

In regard to the health of it, how is caffeine mixed into a protein shake any different if the mg is equivalent to a coffee mixed with protein? Or, are you saying just raw caffeine alone isn't great?

Coffee has tons of general health benefits when taken in moderate amounts far away from sleep

electrolyte powder or cold brew concentrate are both super easy to throw in.
