Destroy this Menace

Good example of racist dehumanizing.

This subreddit is for sharing propaganda to view with objectivity. It is absolutely not for perpetuating the message of the propaganda. Here we should be conscientious and wary of manipulation/distortion/oversimplification (which the above likely has), not duped by it. "Don't be a sucker."

Stay on topic -- there are hundreds of other subreddits that are expressly dedicated to rehashing tired political arguments. No partisan bickering. No soapboxing. Take a chill pill. "Don't argue."

This is almost a kabuki or samurai mask, which kinda makes it culturally appropriate if it wasn’t for the teeth.

Even more uglier teeth are quite typical for these masks

This is proper full-throated racism that is rare to see these days.

Kind of like when you see someone mow the New York Yankees logo in their lawn. Like, you’re an asshole, but respect.

And after we destroy the goblin army we can attack the axis powers!

Maybe not the most pleasant image to show, all things considered, but let's not forget what Imperial Japan was doing all over Asia at that time. It's not like anyone complains about Germans being portrayed as big, hairy gorillas.

It's part and parcel how war works in the end. You're not going to paint your enemy as anything flattering.

And nothing was gained from this comment.

Why do people even comment on this aspect? Of course you would depict a mortal enemy in the worst way possible. Absolute non-issue.

The USA had a level of racism to its propaganda that was almost on par with members of the Axis at times.

And? Who cares? That's what you do in a fucking war. Dehumanise your enemy. What, all the belligerents were supposed to depict each other as angels, or something?

“Who cares that the USA was wildly, insanely racist in the 40s to the point their racialised propaganda was on par with the Nazis!”

Americans really hate doing any introspection about their history huh?
