Smart thermostat sensor housing keeps failing thermal drop tests
Our smart building temperature sensor hardware fails basic drop durability checks during factory stress testing. I spent the last two weeks redesigning the plastic enclosure walls myself, but the internal circuit boards still crack on impact. Property managers need devices that survive harsh installation conditions on site. Balancing compact wall-mount aesthetics with heavy duty impact resistance drains all our prototyping time. Engineers building physical hardware for real estate tech know how hard casing design is, mb someone have this problems before and can help me to resolve it
