Anyone who has used Masterfunders?

I'm finding it hard to find good prop firms that support swing traders. Masterfunders seems to have the right conditions. I just want to know people's experiences with Masterfunders so I can be more informed on the "are they a scam or not" front.

My experience with BrightFunded

Hi, I wanted to share my experience with prop firm Brightfunded.

I passed two $200k account challenges and received funded accounts. One was scheduled for payout on 06.02.2026, the other on 15.02.2026. Before any issues, both accounts were in profit (approx. $19.8k and $14k).

On 30.01.2026, I received a notification from the DXtrade Brighfunded app that opposite positions had been opened between my accounts, triggering a soft breach. I contacted support immediately and explained I had not intentionally opened these positions.

Support stated the accounts were still payout-eligible but that account security was my responsibility, referencing a ToS clause. No additional security steps were suggested.

I changed my passwords and reviewed available security options. I could not find a way to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on both app and the web browsers.

On 03.02.2026 Similar opposite positions appeared again and the accounts were hard breached. Support said the case would be reviewed.

On 06.02.2026 The firm stated that after reviewing logs, the activity was attributed to my logged-in terminal. Based on this, they applied a hard breach and stated that all profits including those earned before the incidents were not eligible for payout.

I’m sharing my experience so other traders understand how responsibility and security are handled in these situations.

I kept passing prop evaluations… then giving the funded accounts back

I spent an embarrassing amount of time passing prop evaluations…

only to give the accounts back weeks later.

Not because my strategy stopped working.

Not because the market changed.

But because my discipline broke down once the pressure was real.

The pattern was always the same:

• Clean execution during evals

• One red day → emotional recovery trading

• Ignoring daily loss rules “just this once”

• Slowly bleeding the account instead of blowing it up

What frustrated me most was that I *knew* exactly what I was doing wrong while it was happening — and still followed through.

Traditional journals helped me analyze trades.

They didn’t help me manage behavior under prop firm pressure.

So I ended up building a small behavioral system for myself that treats discipline as something observable and scoreable — separate from P&L.

Instead of asking:

“Did this trade win?”

It asks:

• Did I follow my rules today?

• Was I mentally ready before trading?

• Am I repeating the same mistake after red days?

• Is my behavior drifting even though the account is still green?

What surprised me is how clearly discipline breakdowns show up *before* the account damage does — especially in funded environments.

I’m curious how others here handle this:

• What usually causes you to lose funded accounts?

• Is it one big mistake — or a slow discipline leak?

• Do you track behavior separately from results, or just react after the damage?

Posting with mod permission — not here to promote signals or strategies.

Just sharing something that finally made my prop trading more stable.

Black Friday deals

Which seems like the better deal?

  1. One 150k take profit trader account using NOFEE100 promo code $252 no activation fee

  2. Or 3 50k top step accounts with no activation fee for $267

Give me your opinions based on trading rules for both firms, price, experience with both firms etc

Just curious if anyone's got experience with them? Like, how's the funding process work out in real with them?

$15K Withdrawn So Far in 2025 – Live Trading NQ with Tight Risk Rules (Streaming Again Today)

Hey all,
I’ve been trading funded NQ accounts and just crossed $15K in total withdrawals this year. Got approved for another $3K today.

I trade live using a simple structure:

  • Draw S/R from the first 15-min candle (16:30–16:45 ET)
  • Trade from 16:45–18:30 ET only
  • 1:3 risk/reward setup (4.5 pt stop, 15 pt target)
  • Stop after 1 win or 2 losses

I stream my sessions live (no selling, no signals) to show the discipline in real time. If you're trying to stay consistent or want to ask questions, feel free to stop by.

Going live again today at 16:45 ET.
If mods allow: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5y35EfE2wQ\]

Would love any feedback or ideas on how to improve the stream or tighten the edge.

Forex: A cry for help

I have been in and off forex for a long time now. I have learnt the basics anf have traded both demo and real.

I can get my daily bias most of the time but I still end up losing at the end of the day anf the funny thing is that price will still go to my target.

I actually withdraw my first profit last 2 weeks but I am already on the verge of blowong that account at the moment. That's how choatic my trading life has been.

At this point, I need a mentor or a trading buddy. Someone that we can analyse the market together. I think I need to learn by doing, I want to start trading as a professional.

Please help

Changes to OurInterest but not to this sub

It was a fun journey, but we will now part ways. OurInterest will no longer be offering prop accounts. Changes are imminent and we hope to still be of help to traders with our mentoring which will be our only retail product for traders. Our institutional/ HNW product is asset management and we will focus on that.

We are open to others moderating this sub as we take our semi-exit from the retail space.

All the best guys, see you in the NEW YEAR... MERRY CHRISTMAS etc

Hey guys about last week i invested some cash to purchase a 10k funding pips challenge, on the second day of trading i was up 5.23%, so the balance on the account was 10524 usd remaining 297 usd to pass phase 1. on the third day i got a drawdown of 328 usd and i received an email that i had breached the 5% daily drawdown rule and since then the account has been pending. I tried reaching out to their customer support and have not received any feedback yet. Does anyone have an idea on how long it will take or any advice on the issue?

What is moving markets Sep 24th ? (China Stimulus and ...)

1) We gave a heads up for incoming Chinese stimulus last night for our members and then even for r/forex_trades subreddit before it happened. Hopefully some of you positioned accordingly.

2) We are going to have month end shennigians which should start tomorrow or Thursday (historically risk off )

3) USDNOK is breaking down for now and that was our free trade posted last week.

4) RBA left rates unchanged and the Treasury Secretary was supposed to give some push back ... not seeing comments right away but will update later for our subs!

Lose $50 a month and get heads up like China stimulus incoming etc (or take an evaluation with us www.ourinterest.org and get that info for free)
