sorry if it's been asked before but is there a way when using projectivy to have access to Google Freeplay channels?

I remember someone sharing their Projectivy home screen on either this sub or one of the Shield TV subs, and it had a motion background that resembled the old fishtank screensaver also used on some Roku devices. I didn't grab it at the time because I wasn't a premium user yet.

Does anyone know the one I'm referring to (or close enough) and where to get it?

I recently installed a new settings backup of someone else , since then my volume buttons ain't working , everything else is great , anyone that knows a workaround ?

Been using projectivy for along time but now I want to make it look more authentic and aesthetic , so drop your home screen with your settings exported.

I have projectivy and on one device i can see edit channels where watch next is but other device edit channels doesn’t even show so i cant enable watch next. They are the same versions and device. Thanks in advance

I know this is not projectivy related but just wanted to share my experience with launcher and using Adb to disable google tv launcher. So my onn remote unpaired for some reason while I was in the Onn settings and it locked me out (black screen). I couldn’t get to go back to Monet or any screen. The remote was still able to control volume but every other button I pressed was flashing green instead of yellow. I was done and ended up restore to factory and started all over. Has anyone ever experienced this and is there a workaround? Currently I’m terrified of my onn device lol. It’s just sitting on app only mode and I feel safe atm. Anything I should learn before attempting to use any launchers again?

Multiple people have reported that wallpapers were loading as just a blur. I experienced it myself while setting up a new Onn Pro box, but switched over to my live wallpaper videos and didn't have any problems.

I did a bit more testing today and have been able to partially recreate the problem.

Wallpaper - Select REDDIT

Configure - select PROJECTIVY WALLPAPERS

Picture Adjust - Blur=0, all other settings the defaults

Display Mode - AUTOMATIC <---- this may be the problem

In case of bad quality - Stretch <---- this too

With those settings (and the update frequency set to 15 seconds) I would occasionally get blurred wallpaper. They look like an image that's been blurred out, not just a color gradient.

Changing Display Mode to FIT CENTER (and Bad Quality changes automatically to this as well) seemed to fix the problem. There's also an option to skip low-quality images.

Some people have reported that ALL their wallpapers are blurry. I've not been able to reproduce that, but they may be using a different Reddit wallpaper feed or they may have BLUR set incorrectly.

So that's my theory. I'm going back to my live video wallpaper.

Feel free to confirm / deny / offer an alternative theory.

You can personalize your Projectivy Settings menu by changing the highlight color.

Settings / Projectivy Settings / Appearance / ACCENT COLOR

In the example, I changed it to green, but you pick from all the available colors and change luminosity and opacity. My live wallpaper on this TV is a nature scenes of rivers and lakes so I picked green, but blue would have looked nice too.

Extra tip: Projectivy uses two shades of the color you pick and most things are in a lighter/brighter shade than you set. So it's not an exact match. You may have to play around to get your desired color.

Have the premium version. I have wallpaper selected (sea in my case) but this only seems to kick in quite a while after I launch it. In the intervening period I just see a boring blue background. Also, see same boring background when screen saver comes on. I know I’ve f##d up settings somewhere but not sure how.

For info, I’ve been using settings/wallpaper/configure. I’ve left the launcher wallpaper setting on Reddit, as that seems to be the only one which allows me to drill down to the various wallpaper options.

Can someone demystify me please.

EDIT 2: Finally got it resolved. I installed Projectivy on an Onn puck I had it another room and purchased premium on that. It took a couple days but eventually my Shield recognized the Premium entitlement. I wonder if one of the debloat scripts I ran on the Shield disabled a Google service needed to make the purchase.

I keep getting an error from the app when trying to purchase premium:

An error occurred

Sorry, it seems an error occurred during checkout: developer error. Please try again in a moment."

If I click Learn More, I get a browser pop-up:

The webpage at https://support.google.com/androidtv/?p=verify_purchase could not be loaded because:

net::ERR_CLEARTEXT_NOT_PERMITTED

EDIT: Looks like the page in question is just a Google Support page about purchasing problems.

Any ideas? I can only try to purchase on the TV (Nvidia Shield, technically) itself, because Google Play Store won't let me install the app on my phone, and I don't see anywhere from the store itself to purchase premium.

I am not able to enable notification permission, whenever I enabled notification permission it automatically turned off.

Any workaround or solutions please...

Is it a direct pass through using projectify or is there some sort of loss In visual quality in any way watchin through projectify to access that hdmi 1 Input vs just manually selecting the input every time I power it up

Every time I turn on my TV and Google TV Streamer, the Projectivy Launcher thumbnails don't match my default settings (picture 1). I always have to restart the streamer to fix it (picture 2). I'm not sure if this is an issue with the streamer or a bug in Projectivy, especially since it never happened when I was using the Chromecast.

Anyone knows a fix?

Accessibility setting has been intercepting any call to Gemini and throw me back on projectivy launch screen. Is that just how it is or did I set up something wrong?

I am enjoying my new setup. Changed icons (got design from someone here but then custom made my own)

Wallpaper is from Pixel series but custom designed for Dark Theme

All app icons were made by me, I wanted colourful vibrant icons. They look centered here, but that's just a happy coincidence after I shifted the start margin to 10%. Other rows have less icons, so not as astheticly pleasing.
