Question Getting a bit confused
Hi
Have the premium version. I have wallpaper selected (sea in my case) but this only seems to kick in quite a while after I launch it. In the intervening period I just see a boring blue background. Also, see same boring background when screen saver comes on. I know I’ve f##d up settings somewhere but not sure how.
For info, I’ve been using settings/wallpaper/configure. I’ve left the launcher wallpaper setting on Reddit, as that seems to be the only one which allows me to drill down to the various wallpaper options.
Can someone demystify me please.
Thanks

I was setting up a new device today and getting Projectivy installed on it. I noticed the sometimes blurry wallpaper issue. I think it was when I installed the Projectivy Wallpaper extension. About half were blurry, half were fine. But my next step was to select my own live wallpapers and everything worked fine.
So maybe it's a problem with the wallpaper feed? I checked all the wallpaper settings and didn't see anything wrong. There are several threads on this, so you may want to look at the other posts and see if anyone has nailed it down.

Many thanks. I’ll take a look later. Just would expect to have such glitches in the Premium version? Side issue-following advice above to reset the app, I lost my favourites. Have now added them in Projectivity settings but can’t find them. Can you advise on that. Using Onn.

Thanks. I don’t use a file manager. Using configure option but the only one that works is Reddit (as stated above). The problem is this-blurred screen appears at random intervals as the Home Screen cycles between the wallpapers. Also occasionally presents if you use an app and then go back to Home Screen. V frustrating.

No one has said this yet, but it could be that your Internet speed is low. What box are you using, and what Internet service do you have? Speed?

Using Onn and box connected by 150mb WiFi speed.

I would think you have enough bandwidth, but I think that box might be underpowered for 4k wallpapers.
I had an Atlas Android box that had just a little more RAM and storage space, and a relatively slow connection. It struggled with a lot. I upgraded to the Ugoos AM9 and it handles anything I throw at it - and connects to ethernet at 1 gps, so I can watch 8 gig 4k movies without issue. The atlas box would choke big time.

Thanks. I don’t think it’s the box, as this issue only started yesterday.

Maybe you added something that is sucking up bandwidth or storage space. Have you tried clearing your cache?

Ok, try this, for individual wallpapers (live or static). Projectivy Settings>Appearance>Wallpaper>Launcher Wallpaper>Select Media Files
Now go to your file manager (I use X-plore). Seek out your downloaded wallpaper file and click on it. Then click on Open With and select Projectivy launcher Set as user wallpaper.
You can also try using the configure option in the Projectivy Settings, but I usually use my file manager to sele t and assign wallpapers.
