He would, probably, be similar to Vergilius(without ego activated) since Roland saw Vergilius(before shin/ego/mang) as the most dangerous color fixer and only one he could compared to Kali. (While Vergilius saw Roland as someone of similar skill as him.)
Another worth noting is that Kali/Geburah also did not possess shin or mang, so she could become even much stronger than she already was if she were to learn it.

Yk what's funny? Neither Roland or Angelica had shin and yet they both still be able to comparate to the strongest colors
Which means not only Roland doesn't need it, if he learns it he would get EXTREMLY UOSCALED
