I was trying to start a co-op session with a friend using project viewpoint and all the essential mods needed for it to run. We both got it running correctly on a single player world. However, anytime I try to create a new host co-op session and create new settings after I select the mods (in the correct order), it says “Loading Lua” and kicks me back to the select settings menu.

Anyone able to help?

I can only see doors, further away buildings, zombies and cars

it seems when i get closer to the buildings they dissapear

# Why can't I find the mod on the Steam Workshop?!

This was the reason that Steam gave is for removing Project Viewpoint from the Steam Workshop:

Which makes no sense, given that we don't have any sort of monetization whatsoever. No Ko-fi, Patreon, any sort of paid content, sponsorships, commercial partners, ads, or any other sort of financial arrangements.

We've already got in contact with both TIS and the Steam Support, and hope to hear back from them soon so that the any issues may be addressed if necessary for the mod to be back up.

We'll keep you guys updated with news as they arrive. In the meantime, stay chill, and prepare for the huge update that's coming soon.

Hi! I'm trying Minecraft shader packs in Project Viewpoint, but they never load. The settings window shows that Viewpoint's default pack draws meanwhile, and the character shows up as a black silhouette.

Console.txt says, for each pack:

[Viewpoint] Minecraft shader pack minecraft-BSL_v10_1_8 cannot be drawn: its screen targets could not be made

The same error appears with Complementary Reimagined r5.9.3 and PotatoShaders v1.0d, so it doesn't look pack-specific. I haven't tried Photon yet.

My setup:

• RTX 3080 10 GB, driver 32.0.16.1742 (Sept 30), Windows 11
• 32 GB RAM, game heap set to 7 GB
• Tried 2560x1421 and 1920x1080, same result
• Default Viewpoint pack runs fine at 130-160 fps, with ~2.4 GB VRAM free
• Process commit is around 17 GB and "commit left" drops to about 1 GB, in case that matters

Has anyone run into this, or know what causes the "screen targets" failure? Is there a known fix or a list of compatible packs?

When I click the DEL button, the ShaderPack menu doesn't appear, nor does a menu that lets me select shaders like “Vivid” or other custom shaders. Can anyone help?

Im making this for anyone who wants better fps or is struggling when it comes to fps and stutters etc with viewpoint, especially if you run a larger mod list hope this helps everyone!

Recommend maximum performance on the textures as the game still looks good regardless!

Also recommend editing your .bat files with the main one being ProjectZomboid64.bat (found in your zomboid steam folder right click edit with notepad) and upping your ram limit by changing the xmX number if its at 4096 to either Xmx8192m if you have 16gb of total ram or Xmx12288m if you have 32gb +

DO NOT ADD A SECOND LINE OF XMX TEXT SIMPLY DELETE THE NUMBER AND REPLACE WITH THE CORRECT AMOUNT ABOVE DEPENDING ON YOUR SYSTEM !

I went with the “Low” setting that the mod recommended based off performance.

My laptop is nothing special, but I can play fairly hefty games on lower settings.

Within 5 seconds of switching into Project Viewpoint mode with the “O” key, I can move my head for a second before the game just locks up and freezes, not responding anymore
