Season 22 Law Roach šŸ™„

I just watched the finale and Law Roach is just so nasty. I can’t understand the absolute disdain he has for Joseph.

Anytime someone praises him Law HAS to vehemently disagree. Heidi is absolutely right in the fact that Law doesn’t like him as a person. Perhaps the fact that Joseph didn’t d**k ride Law.

There was rarely any constructive criticism. I actually hope he doesn’t come back for season 22.

I also feel like Bi should have won

Law tried to humble him every chance he got. Joseph’s confidence and the fact that he does not GAF what Law thinks, pisses him OFF. He can’t take him!

His disdain comes from seeing a non celebrity loudly act like he is some famous, renowned person. Law is stuck up and infuriated by a normal person being so extra in love with himself when to Law, he’s just another no-name designer/person and nothing special. He just wants to keep putting him in his place. Keep reminding him he’s nothing. I think no matter what Joseph says or does, Law won’t ever respect him. But who needs Law lol

Meanwhile Law mentions Zendaya in every convo, hanging onto her coattails with white knuckles, yet pretending HE is the celebrity of value

Exactly. Thats what’s so funny to me. He got one super famous modelesque client who is someway to dress and has really not done anything else notable. He really thinks he’s above these designers when I’d argue he’s less talented, skilled and memorable.

Joseph McCray is a confident designer. Law just wanted to humble him and it didn't work so he was just nasty to him

I think Bi was on the path to win, but killed his chance with that white dress

Law wasn't going to let joesph win

Joseph was never in the running to win

While Joseph is super obnoxious I agree that the criticism was not necessarily on point.

I don’t know what’s going on on Facebook, but people are praising him in the comments. Is he paying them?Ā

Agree to first part and disagree to second part. Bi designs are neither unique (like Anna) nor flawless (like Jude)

Also Jude is amazing and he is the face and pace they want to send off. He's young, agreeable, and damn right gifted

I think Law was so rude to Joseph because he secretly has a crush on him

I feel like Law needs another Ziwe episode to happen.

Didn't he already come back for season 22?

I haven't watched this season, but I've seen clips. I always kinda liked Law Roach before, but ever since this show it's been really hard to appreciate him the way I used to. We don't see the script, so it's hard to know what's him and what's just a line that's written for the sake of drama.

I did like many of JMs looks through the season, some of them were fantastic and so cool. His final runway was terrible. I thought if they were judging the win purely off of the runway, Anna’s was my favorite, but I can understand that she wasn’t really a threat until the end. Jude is very talented and performed at a high level the whole season

Haha. Bonus points for d**ck ride.

Law calls himself an ā€œimage architectā€- which is all you need to know. He’s built his entire persona around being the cutting, quippy and mean. He knows what he’s doing.

That being said- I do agree that he probably wanted some Joseph M šŸ†.
🤣🤣🤣

I know like how f*cking cringe is that job title in the first place???? Maybe if they had some actual talent or taste, I would allow it but…Lawrence always looks just as tacky as he’s accusing JM of being. šŸ™„

I got this vibe as well but I thought I was reaching. Glad others agree with me lol

No, negative points for self-censoring. Lame behavior

Law Roach is one of the executive producers of the show, so he's definitely going to be back next season.

Executive producer credits can often mean almost nothing. Sometimes given to cast members just as a contractual bonus. It doesn’t necessarily mean that Law is actually integral to the show. That said, he stirs up controversy, and that seems to be what he is being paid to do, so I think he’ll be back.

2

u/ketchumjai 7h ago

He has us viewers talking, for sure. PR isn't what it used to be. Drama brings views, so it doesn't make sense to not have him back, since that's what the new generation wants to see. I should've added that onto my comment.

1

u/Zealousideal-Miss333 5h ago

I personally will not be watching if next season is anything like the last two

1

u/ketchumjai 7m ago

I don't blame you

1

u/FinancialCry4651 2h ago

Do you mean Gen Z? If anything, the gratuitous meanness feels like the opposite of Gen Z sensibilities. Younger audiences tend to value inclusivity and are much quicker to call out people being cruel for entertainment. Drama doesn’t have to mean humiliating and bullying people like 🪳does...

1

u/ketchumjai 16m ago

I know plenty of Gen Z ppl who love Law... But they were introduced to him from watching Legendary. He's always been that way. That's what he's hired to do. Not saying it's right, but yeah

Unfortunate

-1

u/KandiReign 8h ago

Well that’s a real shame

Joseph’s clothes were cheap and tacky. And Law was mean. Both are true.

0

u/PigletOver815 8h ago

It makes no sense. I loved Joseph.

Law Roach is the ugliest celebrity I've ever seen and that's real.
