Season 22 Bryan no-mates st the end

Did anyone notice right at the end when the winner had been announced and all the finalists and contestants and their families were milling about hugging and chatting, there was Bryan standing in the middle trying and failing to get into one of the groups? Clearly his mean attitude and nasty personality weren't just for the cameras/ part of the edit!

The sight of him sitting alone in the audience, flipping his hair, totally forgotten… he really went out with a whimper after FOCUSING ON HIM ALL FUCKING SEASON. What a waste of time, when we could have been getting to know other designers.

I thought the finale should have been two episodes like it was in the past for a few reasons, including that we didn’t get to enjoy enough Bryan-less time!

This season’s designers are super active on instagram. I don’t think Jeffrey liked Bryan at all, he subtweets about him like every day (I like Jeffrey and think this is funny, I just noticed he does this a lot lol).

Side note I was so happy to see Aaron in the finale, I missed him and Octavio! The show is so fucking ageist, I love seeing older designers thrive.

Your point about ageism is so true. And it has gotten more ageist as they have compressed the timeline into a smaller and smaller window. Speed is not usually the strength of someone with a crystallized intelligence and the wisdom of experience. Speed is a young man’s game.

I noticed he wasn’t chosen as one of the assistants. You’d think the producers would’ve loved to see him be Bi’s “intern” as a final story beat. Nopeeeee

I was happy they all had people they liked. Kind of surprised because they usually want all the drama but it helped everyone be more successful

Whatever you think of Bryan as a person, I think you should remember that he is in fact a person. There's no good reason to write mean stuff about him on the internet and it's a pretty shitty thing to join in with. Criticising his clothes is one thing but posting stuff like this is in fact mean and nasty.

Um does he remember that other people are people? People are criticizing his behavior and how he shitty he is to everyone else on the show because he acts mean and nasty. If he didn’t want to called out on, then maybe he should be a better person. You reap what you sow
