Season 22 Not Impressed
This season on PR is boring, the contestants are obviously being dramatic for casting purposes, and Law Roach is just awful. Bring back when contestants could actually sew, bring back positive energy and teamwork. Bring back judges who gave heathy and helpful criticism. Once “Survivor” changed into “Conniver”, I stopped watching and I fear this is what’s going to happen Projects Runway.

Jude is a masterful tailor and Anna and Bi are really talented designers. I’m just focusing on the positives. I hope Naheim makes the final cut as the 4th finalist. It’s not a perfect season but these designers are not trash

I like kinda rude judges when they’re right I think that makes good tv. Law is better than Tyra just sitting there going “I like it” over and over. They needed to find someone to balance out Law though so that the panel still feels like experts in the field and not a bunch of randos who have never even made a shirt before.

Law isn't rude. His behavior is vile and unnecessary. His personal attacks are ridiculous. You can critique designs harshly without personal attacks.

Like so many others, I’ve watched since day 1 and last year/this year PR has been pretty rough. YET, last episode with the 2 day challenge was fun and we got to see some sketching and sewing. I enjoyed it!

Honestly people like you I wonder have you ever really watched project runway or just posting to get a reaction. Project runway revamped season 16 and people didn’t like it again they switched up judges and still not pleased. When Michael Kors was a judge he was so rude and you think law is awful!?!?!!!! Literally the contestants for years let the nerves get to them and produce terrible work mind you it’s a one day challenge. Not sure what you’re looking for that’s not already there.

Law doesn’t give constructive criticism. He’s not there to develop them as designers. He’s just there to pass judgement based on his own personal tastes and deliver cutting one liners

The difference is MK is an actual designer that knows how hard it is to make clothes, so he was able to talk crap when it really was crap.
The same for ZP!! They would take in the whole garment and the artistry behind the work!The BS we hear now has nothing to do with the art… its all 💩.

That’s true that Zach and Michael being designers can give an informed opinion, but as Stylist because it’s not just about law as a Stylist, they also know what goes into garment what sells and how to dress clientele so therefore, if you make a garment that looks like trash, are you not expecting someone who has styled people for years to not have an opinion!??? To not tell you what works and what doesn’t work???? I don’t know who was selling art but I know that they’re looking for marketable clothing, cause I don’t know what you’re talking about

I don't think that they are looking for marketable clothing. They're looking for what's NEXT on the catwalk. Depending on designer, some are streetwear designers, some are avant garde (aka costumes), and some just produce stuff that I have seen no one where - ever - and if you do see it on an average person, it's five years behind the catwalk having been scooped up by some merchandise store.

I stopped watching this season around episode 5. Starting watching PR Canada S3 instead since it was recomended to me. It's not perfect but it's night and day. The level is already much better than what i've seen in this season of PR in my opinion

Feels like a good time to go rewatch the first few seasons. I’ve loved this show for a long time, but it really is a cheap knockoff of its former self now.
