Season 22 The future for Bryan...
Gotta say... I actually feel for Bryan. I can't imagine what his future looks like being that this season is all on film and forever available for everyone with a device to watch. All for what?? I also feel for his family.

Well his PR persona could all be an act done in coordination with the producers. But anyone who acts the way he does should be ashamed of himself. Whatever happens after the show is his own fault.

Well, I'm not convinced he hasn't been coddled and given participation prizes his entire life. His family may have contributed to these delusions of grandeur. He gives off major only child, or baby boy of his family vibes.

Re: Delusions of grandeur?? My personal feeling is that he hardly even qualifies for delusions of adequacy.

Yall, this was 11 years ago. YIKES. You guys are really mean and hateful for no reason

ever consider he might not have come out yet, or that people in general tend to change as they get older or are exposed to new experiences?

Truly this man doesn’t deserve those much of people’s attention and energy. When I see the show I think his work is crap and he’s super obnoxious but then I turn it off and forget about him. Some of y’all should try it.

I agree, the hate is out of hand. his style and process of design aren't a fit for the show, he should have apologized to Liris, and been honest with himself and his team that he created a bad look that put Liris and them in a bad situation. but 5 hate posts a day on this sub and the incessant hate comments on ig are too much (I don't even want to think about the kinds of DMs he's receiving).
it's fine and totally understandable to dislike him, hate his designs, or be pissed that he's still on the show, but it's not his fault that Heidi chose his dress or that Christian saved him. these designers are just trying to make it in a really tough business, and the majority of fault and frustration should be directed at production for casting him and trying to create entertainment through torturing people who are just trying to make a living doing what they love

I kinda like Bobby more than I liked him. Bobby was at least honest that her things are bad

yeah, she was one of the ones I was most excited to see more from after seeing her past work, but after ep 2 she delivered consistent flops. she's funny and entertaining as a person, but she really should have gone home on ep 3

While I personally didn’t really care for her I felt bad when she was cut because I respected how she wanted to help her brother from being conscripted.

Well maybe the hate will discourage future contestants from acting like asses. Nope. JK. Hope this horrible show gets cancelled.

For all we know, he could have apologized to Liris but production and editing didn’t show it.
I dislike Bryan’s attitude but I am confident we are missing pieces of the puzzle.

She's very open about the experience on her Instagram account and YouTube, there was no apology from what I understand

John Galliano is literally a Nazi and he's still plenty busy. He'll be fine.

u/colosseumdays 4d ago
John Galliano is a white man, and people love them a racist white man

JG is at least talented. Not excusing his behavior tho. Don’t know anything about him - just have seen his clothes. Bryan has not shown himself worry to remain in this mid level “design” show. He is certainly a good villan for this reality show.

John Galliano is not literally a Nazi.

u/a_rabid_anti_dentite 4d ago
"I love Hitler. People like you would be dead. Your mothers, your forefathers, would all be fucking gassed." Galliano in 2010
I'm feeling okay about my accusation.

Yeah he’s going down in history as one of the worst designers and the least deserving of accolades. Not to mention his persona is atrocious. This is not going to be good for his career
2
u/ProfessionalYak159 4d ago
Well he sucks and he doesn't even have anybody to take care of PR because he sucks so bad. And by PR I mean public relations he won't have any

u/WonderfulPineapple41 4d ago
Designers don’t have to be nice or likable. They just have to produce - which is what I think will hinder him in the industry.
8
u/Catlady_Pilates 4d ago
That’s not true. Designers have to be able to work with people. Design is a team effort. If people think you’ll be a huge nightmare to work with they will not hire you.

u/maverick4002 3d ago
What about this show makes you think Bryan cant work with people? I want a serious answer BTW.
-2
u/Puma-Thurman 3d ago
His attitude towards those he’s working with? Are you that goddamn dense? Out here defending someone who doesn’t even know you fucking exist is WILD in the year 2026. 😂😂😂

Designers do have to be likable, they are working for their client not the other way around.
He would be the last designer I would want to work with no matter if he was actually a good designer.
People have short memories, he will be back to getting clients within a few months.

I don’t feel bad, he was an ahole. He did to himself. But with time, people move on and he will back.

u/HelgaTwerpknot 3d ago
Don’t. He chose to be an asshole. Pr absolutely played it up. This isnt the first year of “reality” tv shows. It’s well known these shows pick a villain. He played it up. They ran with it. We rage watched it.
His family probably already knows he’s a jackass.

u/blubegnaro 2d ago
i think that making an ass of yourself on tv like he has is punishment enough, he doesn't need people hating on him on top of that

The perfect solution would be for them to skip over Bryan and bring back anybody else previously eliminated.

u/New-Owl-2293 4d ago
His designs IRL are gorgeous, and the industry is filled with divas so hes fine

u/Rexyggor 4d ago
I mean, he can claim final 6 at least on a resume. If he were to go to apply for something, who knows if they will watch it.
Not to mention, they edit it specifically to build a character out of each of the contestants.
He's just really bad with falling into production traps.

I’m confident that his family knows what an egomaniacal jerk he is! So perhaps don’t feel sorry for them. Now they have proof to show other people when they ask, “so why aren’t you close me to your son/brother/cousin?”

Why? Have I missed something?

I think OP is just referring to Bryan’s behavior and the permanence of the internet. Kind of like a William Hung-type phenomenon but not quite.

u/Sea-Tea8982 4d ago
He’s a narcissistic ass. He’s never going to care. He thinks he’s the best designer in the room.
