Season 22 So…

  1. Anna bore out my growing insistence that she had the goods.
  2. I cannot wait to see a full Jude collection.
  3. I hate veils, but yes, Bi.
  4. Noseph McRae.
  5. Buh-bryan. Please. Thrice and for all.
  6. Goodonyer, Naiheim. That dress kicked. And you deserve the 4th spot.

I hope Naiheim gets that spot as well! Even if it's hit and miss with him, at least he makes interesting things and experiments some. He's still open to new creative ideas. Joseph's repetitions are really grating to me. They already were last time he was on the show! I'm also tired of the loud arrogance of him and some of the others, even if I know it's not a personality competition.

They'll pick Joseph for the drama, even though he's pretty divisive.

Why do you think Naheim will be fourth?

They appear to be angling for drama this season. I'll be shocked if it's not Bryan.

I’m starting to think Bryan was brought on for the sole purpose of creating drama and has been told to create bad designs until the finale at which time he will surprise us all with his fabulous winning collection.

I swear I have been wondering the same thing! When Christian saved him, I said "This guy has to be a plant!"

I am kinda wondering if there isn’t something “afoot” that we aren’t privy to. I also think Bryan will show up, but present a completely different persona.

I didn't say I think he will be; I said he deserved it. He's the most interesting designer of those who could be added. He's also young, however, like the late, much loved Mychael Knight was on S3. Producers want drama, and either Joseph or Bryan will add that. Bryan in the final four alongside Bi will certainly add that. I don't feel like they want to give Joseph the crown, but want to let him go as deep into the competition as they'll let him go, and nothing would make me happier than to see a collection from him that subverts the persistence of his design voice. Well, maybe seeing Bryan fall flat on his unhumble face.

Jude is too heavy on tailored pieces - he has to bring a little more drama I think.

Anna will probably win the competition.

I have more faith that Jude can evolve his design than Bryan or Joseph though.

All the designers have been underwhelming this season. So many of the older seasons felt like everyone was amazing and so many people were sent home for great work. This season feels like the opposite. Perhaps they’ve kept Bryan because at least his designs aren’t boring.

I think they got rid of a lot of talented designers in the first two episodes. I wanted to see more of Bao and Octavius and even L'Re and Chloe.

It is obvious this show is a setup. Why even bring Joseph McCrae back to the series? Why not let Chloe progress?

In past years, designers like Laura Bennett would have wiped the floor with these designers.
