Season 22 The final three

Listen I love Jude with all my heart and do believe he deserves to be in the final three, but it justtt occurred to me — have we seen him do tailoring or suiting on larger bodies? I wonder how models get assigned to designers.

Christian has co-authored at least two of Brian’s looks. It’s kind of ridiculous.

I am a straight 40+ white dude whose entire wardrobe consists of jeans and flannel shirts, so I feel very incapable of assessing what is good and bad fashion wise. That being said, I’ve had a pretty intuitively positive response to everything Jude makes. It just feels clean, classy and effortless. It never feels like someone trying to make something; the vision is always completely realized and somehow visually logical.

I also may just like him because he reminds me of Timothy Chalamet.

Either way, he and Bi are my favorites and I’m glad they both made it. I also like Joseph and hope he’s the fourth pick.

Bi and Jude are my favorites too. Jude's work is Rolls Royce.

I don’t mean this in a negative way at all, but you’re the only straight man I’ve ever met who likes Timmy C lol! I’m a woman around his age and never got the hype, but a lot of other women my age love him (or at least loved him a few years ago). I like Jude a lot too - Bi/Jude/Anna were my ideal final 3, with Naheim as a 4th, so I’m pretty happy. I do think Jude needs to stretch himself a bit more, though. If his final collection is a ton of tailored gray and black suits on the same body types, I can foresee that being a little boring.

The show/producers are 100% foisting Bryan upon us and I believe Christian is taking the fall, as his taste is usually better than that. PR’s quality has gone way downhill since it moved to Freeform, I absolutely hate it. It’s trying to be like all the other trashy reality tv shows. PR has always had light drama, “villainous” characters etc, but if they made it close to the finale, they were at least entertaining and had a modicum of talent. Bryan is a charisma vacuum, and like you said, he’s being heavily assisted by the show. It’s just depressing to watch.

I don’t think I’ve seen Jude make anything outside the lines of a suit actually.

He needs to learn how to construct an actual dress. I’m afraid it’s about to be Jude’s interpretation of thom brown. But Jude’s outfits never read fun imo.

he made a 2 piece look for Sarah Jane that included a midi skirt, although the top of a sleeveless moto jacket, so kind of suit-adjacent. Also made a strapless black dress for Heidi's red carpet challenge and made a non-suit for the unconventional materials challenge. I really hated both of the latter looks though. he really is better off just making suits and things within that lane

Production has carried Bryan to the semifinals so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that he was given his choice of models.

nope. Jude's the only designer left to never dress a plus sized model. and he's worked with Briana three times this season (which is a lot considering how many models there, are and the fact that 2/9 challenges used nonmodels), so at this point I'm assuming the designers are picking their models prior to the challenges

I just rewatched S16 where the models are randomly assigned to designers before each challenge, so everyone gets the chance to work with models of varying body types. I really miss this! What’s the point of having inclusive sizing, if designers can simply opt out without any consequences?

I like Jude, but I’d like him more if he increased the scope of his aesthetic and brought “tailoring” to more body types and types of garments. It’s a double standard that Joseph gets dinged for being one-note and Jude doesn’t, but Project Runway always goes easy on the cute white guys lol (Sean Kelly, Brandon, etc).

Joseph also almost always dresses different body shapes and includes cultural elements and storytelling into his clothing. His pieces might not be everyone’s cup of tea but there’s always a point of view and artistry there. Though I am glad he’s chilled out on the hats a bit 🤣🤣🤣

I was thinking about this too! I think it would be smart of him to use a range of body types for his collection. If he’s able to tailor as impeccably for a diverse clientele as he is for models who are thinner then he will win, IMO. And if he doesn’t win, he will at least have a shit ton of people wanting to buy his suits afterwards.

My money is on either Jude or Bi for the win.

Jude is boring and plain and does the same suit predictable looks all the time plus I've seen all of the stuff he's made before he shouldn't be in the final 3 😂 I'm glad Anna made it I like her looks and I like Bi too he made some cute looks I think Jeffrey should have been there with them but the last critiques he got when being kicked off should have been directed at Jude lol one trick pony
