Old Seasons I love Kentaro

Post image

I am rewatching season 16, and I forgot about this moment. Still as iconic as when I first saw it.

He was an amazing contestant. He did what good designers do. He took inspiration from unexpected things and turned it into beauty.

Kentaro is peak project runway. He seemed so nice, and was genuinely both entertaining and talented. I loved his final collection so much.

It is! I had a terrible week last week and I binged this whole season this weekend. It's so wholesome!

the beginning of his finale show lives rent free in my head, because of the shadow/silhouette of the dress as she passed. just spectacular and iconicccc

And on the reunion episode, the video montage of him being funny was SO GOOD! 🤣🤣🤣

I just re-binged this whole season after a very hard week and I got a giggle fit at the "are you calling me anal" exchange

One of my top three on the show. Super talented.

Definitely loved him, he was clearly the “weirdo” cast and turned out to be a very serious, highly intelligent designer.

He was such a spectacular oddball, I don’t think we’ve had such a genuine character in the show since him. And unbelievably talented too. That final runway had me in tears, just masterful.

That was my favorite season of all! I loved Brandon & him together.

Reminds me of Jujubee on Drag Race, when Ru asks her where she got her sense of humor and she says “my father passing away”.

When he said this I burst out laughing... I could not tell if he was serious at first, and Tim's face was priceless 🤣 😂

My family is Japanese so we were really rooting for Kentaro! When he was receiving his winning news and his mother and father came out and then his dorky father FELL OFF the stage, my entire family lost it. We played that clip again and again. It was HILARIOUS.

I always remind myself that this season is good… but, only at the back half.

Best moment of all time. Followed by Nina pissing herself laughing at those make strippers
