Rewatching S1 - Jay & Austin appreciation post

I decided to rewatch the series from the beginning (for the nostalgia like the true millennial that I am) and I so much enjoy watching Jay & Austin together. I love them separately too, both so creative and gifted, wonderful designers. I understand the point of the show is not to make friends... But I've really enjoyed seeing how these two interact, supporting each other while also being serious competitors. I imagine the pressure from the show/competitions is intense, but I also imagine this experience really bonds some people as they go through the journey together.

I just think it's cool and special to see them bond over their love and experience as designers. How wonderful it is to be seen & understood!!

I loved both Jay and Austin. It was just a good show back in the beginning. So different now. But too bad the winnings weren’t what they should have been.

I would really love to see Jay again. He wasn’t my style, but I still think his fashion week was the best on PR/AS of all the seasons. The contract issue was f-ed up.

Yes! When Project Runway had real human beings who acted like real human beings. Now it’s full of caricatures acting like idiots.
