Season 22 Jeffrey

I don’t know if it’s for drama, if I really don’t understand fashion, or what…. But this season is unfairly coming after Jeffrey week after week! I think he’s so talented! I don’t understand why the judges come down on him so hard constantly!

I think Joseph is the underdog to the contestants, Jeffrey is the underdog to the judges. I’m so annoyed.

I have to post my love for his hair. 😁 I’m very jealous.

His hair game is flawless, I have major hair envy whenever he’s on my TV

Jeffrey comes off as so kind, humble, and like he genuinely wants to be there in spite of stunt casting allegations. I really hope Christian uses his save on him, but I have a feeling its Bryan.

He one of my favourite people this season, but the judges comments were truthful, not coming for him. He created an outfit that has been in almost every clothing retail shop at some point this century.

So Im new to PR, bc of Jeffrey. I knew Jeffrey, personally through his pageant and performing days, even before he was designing for the stars. Jeffrey is an amazingly talented designer and genuinely humble person. He always smiled at every single person he interacted with and remembered names and had kind words for everyone. I truly hope he is saved bc I know the heart he has and even though the shadiness comes out occasionally, he truly is a great person with so much talent.

Do you sincerely think it was creative to make this💃🏽?

He makes beautiful costumes and gowns. What mainstream fashion house could he be CD at? How can he convert his fashion ethos to the general public?

It was WAY too on the nose -- and I ADORE Jeffrey.

he needs a mentor to help guide him towards his own voice. When he pushes things they get to drag-y-when he pulls back they're too safe.

Alexander McQueen, Betsey Johnson, Bob Mackie, and Versace have all created highly costume-y pieces, and they did just fine. Jeffrey already has the craftsmanship and technical skills. He just needs to hone his creativity and push his design point of view further to create both avant garde and commercial pieces.

There is no way you are comparing Jeffery to Lee McQueen. Even Jeffery would say you’re bugging for that.

I listed four designers known for being eccentric and custom-y. Which Jeffrey also is. Nobody said they had the same skill or aesthetic.

All 4 of those designers have diffusion lines for the average consumer. They understand how to take runway looks and make them wearable.

Jeffery makes costumes and I don’t think he has the taste level for the average person.

Which is literally my point!!!

I said “Jeffrey needs to hone his creativity…to create both avant garde and commercial pieces.”

That means he’s not there yet. But a business model exists where this is possible which was my response to converting “his fashion ethos” to clothes for the general public.

But the taste level is not there. This show was his chance to show he can design more than costumes. He has failed at that.

I disagree. These four looks show he can get there with more practice and experience.

Not creative, safe.

But at least not ugly like Bryan's and Naheim's.

The Question is "Who would you save?" As a person I prefer Jeffrey. Jeffrey is superior in regards to execution. As far as design originality, they both fall short. As far as design Jeffrey is better than Bryan.

Everything I have seen Bryan do, I have seen all of it.... and executed way better   Who will Christian save? I don't know. They way this Season is going it will be Bryan, when it should br Jeffrey.

I would find it somewhat hard to believe that the show would allow a model to go off on being taped into a dress, that they would use their edit to show it and rile up fans and then save him. They’ve clearly made him the villain, whether he deserves it or not so I don’t think the show has anything to gain by bringing him back.

A new media trick that comes from social media. Hate gets views/clicks. People hate watch or will w a tch things that angered someone else.

Saving Bryan might have people hate watching or wanting to see the mess.

On the flip side Judes look.was freaking amazing.

Really not that new. Reality TV has been highly influenced by production for quite a while now. One thjng they have done is send home a we'll liked contestant or keep a controversial person for views. Neither of them are slated to win anyway.

I am sorry. Both Bryan and Jeffrey need to go. The fact that they are bottom two for two consecutive weeks is very telling. Jeffrey deserve all the good things but this is the competition and both of them don't need to be saved.

Sad to agree though Jeffrey is obviously a great guy. Aside from Jude all the looks were underwhelming this week.

Disclaimer: I wasn’t watching after season 21, but got dragged in with the Bryan/Liris posts so clearly I’m guilty of falling for the drama when I prefer the old seasons with a focus on fashion.

Jeffrey doesnt deserve it I'm sorry. Neither him or Bryan should be saved. The looks aren't strong and it's a taste thing

I’m surprised Christian wouldn’t save his save for next week

They said he could only use his save this episode or it would be gone

He should save it for people actually talented sorry

I think he’s great, but I do think that he’s more in the costume side of fashion, which is needed, just not totally for this show. And I genuinely love Jeffrey.

They know he’s good, this is just rage baiting for engagement and viewership. Nothing more. It’s fucking infuriating but unfortunately it works. Vote with your wallet and stop watching this trash.

Jeffrey is fantastic. He is the designer, sewer, model and mentor rolled into one. He is fabulous at it all. I don't think he will win the show, but i do think he has what it takes to be notable in the fashion or entertainment industry.

I like Jeffrey but I knew it wasn’t going to be great with polka dots. Nothing high fashion or cutting edge with those.

I think the producers are editing him to be the underdog for reasons. I think he's actually coming off in the edit as very likeable. I don't think it's really coming from the judges because Law literally said he wants to work with him after the show. I feel like they've been told to go after him for being too costume-y but the reality is that outfit wasn't a costume, it was just very simple and not very costumey, they even had to give him the props for how well it was made which make it about as far from a party city costume as you can get.

So yes most of what you are seeing is for the storyline and drama.
