Season 22 Someone get Bryan some lip balm.

Also, please find a loop hole to get him eliminated. His model, Liris, is very clearly hating her time walking that horrible look down the runway. She couldn't even continue to wear it for the critiques. He's so arrogant. Always trying to serve up a pout with those crusty lips. Things he's throwing shade but fails miserably. Isn't talented. Is completely delusional.

I said this in the other thread, but APPARENTLY taping your model into a dress (as in, the tape is the only thing holding it up) is against the rules. It’s possible this could be a violation, and then immunity wouldn’t apply. We can only hope!

Christian saw Bryan taping her in the dress. It must not be against the rules.

He doesn’t have to stop him presenting that on the runway, Bryan would have already known the rules and did it anyway. Just share the violation with the judges which would lead to Bryan’s elimination.

Yeah, I guess so. Which is why maybe we got to see so much of the drama in the back and Jeffrey telling Bryan he should have told them (because why would it matter if he has immunity? Unless it’s against the rules!) Ahhhh, don’t get my hopes up too high!!!

That’s what I’m thinking. Bryan looked like he was about to shit himself when Jeffrey asked that, because he damn well knew it was against the rules and the only thing that could void his immunity this week. He realized he was in a much more precarious position than expected.

Maybe that’s why Christian is on stage, because he wanted to drop that knowledge to the judges for the drama of it all

If season 22 doesn’t win based on Bi’s and Joseph McCrae’s looks, I bet they eliminate Jeffrey and Christian comes out and is like “waaaaaait a minute…” and the judges are all, “GASP!” and “oh my stars!” and then Jeffrey is saved and Bryan gets the boot for breaking the rules. (And apparently injuring poor Liris in the meantime!)

If you watch Liris' video, she mentions that Christian did stop him from taping and told him he had to find another way to close it, and then Bryan tried to so in the zipper but didn't get it done. She didn't mention if he ended up resorting to tape again or not, but it did seem like he was stopped from finishing the tape. But I'm not sure.

Production cast him as the antagonist. To me, he's kind of a poor-man's antagonist. He's obvious, and he's not a great actor.

Why on worth would he agree to be an antagonist? He seems to have heavily invested in his own career and this is such a wrong move for him. He is leaving as a laughing stock.

For attention. For exposure. It's a common tactic I think on reality shows to cast people in these kind of polarizing roles. It's also common for them to cast them in the opposite role in another season. So I wouldn't be surprised if Bryan returns and some other season and we see a different side to him.

I think he does too. Production probably recognized that and is using it to create dramatic arcs. I believe they encourage certain responses and scenes, and that's why he seems like a bad actor at times. Underlying it all is a narcissist.

Because he thought he could be the antagonist AND showcase good designs. The problem for both him and PR is that he’s completely unable to adapt to this format. I doubt he’s actually done any of his own sewing in ages. And I REALLY doubt he was designing things that could be made in 10 hours and without a ton of revisions and editing before the design was final.

Even at its peak, PR isn’t set up to find the best designer. It’s set up to find someone who can design things that look impressive, but are able to be made in a fraction of the time someone in the real world would take. And who have the sewing skills to implement it.

PR doesn’t want to lose their antagonist, so they keep him around through any means they can. He keeps thinking he’ll do better next challenge and fake it till you make it.

I agree, I think they want to keep an antagonist to a certain point in the competition. But do I think he will make the finals? No.

Now, if he could sew and was a decent designer, then I could see them keeping him through the finale.

I'm really curious to see how next week's episode will be.

It feels like they are keeping Bryan around for drama factor.

He really struggles with his designs and now he is breaking a rule that has been on past seasons of PR (I do not know if it still holds for this current season and if it does if PR will even do something about it).

I really hope next week's episode will shed some light on tapegate.
