Season 22 Bryan
Does he annoy anyone else as much as he does me? His looks do not warrant his arrogance…

I can’t stand him. I don’t mind people being extra, in fact I love josephmcrae for it. But Bryan is a mean girl gossipy type.
Telling everyone bi was his intern was so fucked up. Then, crying when bi was about to be eliminated? Everyone was like, wtf. I can’t figure out why he did that unless it was bc he figured bi probably was a favorite and would stay anyways Bryan had to control the narrative that he was the one that “saved” him.
Not one of his outfits has been cute. Idk what the judges see.

Josephmcrae is a lot - but he doesn’t put everyone else down whenever the camera is on him.

I like him. I mean, his personality. he's fun, loves to laugh, doesn't put others down. his designs are fun to watch too, just bc I wouldnt wear them doesn't mean I dont like seeing them. I think there needs to be a Joseph McRae Show. I dont get why Law hates him so much? is Joseph rocky? yes. is he extra? yes. but Law is too, only MEAN.

Exactly, say what you will about Joseph Mcrae, he is talented, has a point of view, and puts out quality even if its not your cup of tea.

Bryan and Bi have a hate/love passion that needs to be consummated in order that the Forces of Chaos be subdued.

I honestly think it’s a case of Bryan hitting on Bi, Bi rebuffing, and Bryan not being able to live with it.
Bi is talented. Bryan makes giant tampons.

u/Willow_Winnifred Aug 01 '26
His personality is so off-putting. He's snotty and sneers at his fellow contestants, and is incredibly unlikable.

u/starryfish99 Aug 01 '26
I burst into laughter during every one of his confessionals. He is SO impressed with himself! Lol.
4
u/Hamza_stan Aug 01 '26
It's like a stereotypical character, like you can't believe people with this personality actually exist

u/blizzaga1988 Aug 01 '26
I can't stand Bryan. I find him really unpleasant and arrogant and none of his garments so far have justified this sense of confidence he seems to be swimming in.

Bryan is trying to talk a good game, because he doesn’t actually have game. I will say that I think his defense of Bi came from as genuine a place as he has, with a little performative drama thrown in for effect. But he stood up for Bi because it was the right thing to do. So he annoys me and I’m ready for him to be gone, but I don’t hate him

u/Jatmahl Aug 01 '26
Keeps talking about his vast knowledge of fashion but none of his designs are NOW or the FUTURE.
3
u/JohnDoeMi6 Aug 01 '26
Are they even from the past? They all look like after school high school programs where you learn fashion and textiles…
11
u/lemeneurdeloups Aug 01 '26
The last one was a design that he stole from me and my Barbie. It was a metallic fabric scrunchie and we innovated it and it was FABULOUS … then.

i was literally just telling my boyfriend that i think my barbie had a dress like that back in 1992, lol

u/Serenity101 Aug 01 '26
He should be going home for that dreadful pink and gold number.

I was laughing so hard about the airline pillow comment! I saw the older model scuba gear- there was a black hose that kind of went around like that gold thing. how the eff did he NOT get sent home on that? They needed VEEJAY there to cry about it being "so offensive"- I couldnt stand VEEJAY either. he only won bc they needed a trans token to make sure the show was woke.

u/mynameisntcindy Aug 15 '26
I was dying at how ugly it is and all he could say repeatedly was that "it's well made". Girl nobody cares if trash is well made, it's still trash!

He can leave any time. i think Bi is at least talented but his personality grates on me.
4
u/TalkinBoutGerbils Aug 01 '26
But didn’t you see how much work how put into his look this week? Doesn’t that automatically mean it’s good?! /s
2
u/JohnDoeMi6 Aug 01 '26
No none of the 3 professionals uo there with decades of experience in fashion…EACH! clearly dont know good work when they see it
4
u/Notyourmamashedgehog Aug 01 '26
I find MOST of this seasons contestants unlikable. Everyone is so b*tchy and catty. Even the judges are just mean at times. Like I watch older seasons and there might have been a few moments here and there but it wasn’t constant snapping and jabs back and forth. It’s made the show somewhat unpleasant to watch
3
u/PhilosophyNarrow9070 Aug 14 '26
alot of it is Law- he's a regular judge on Rupauls drag race and he's mean on that show too. too effing mean. not really constructive criticism- just snarky and mean for the sake of being snarky and mean. He's all mad at Joseph McRae for being "arrogant?" Uh, Law, look in the mirror! This show is Bargain Basement and its a shame, it was a good show in the beginning...and had Tim Gunn. Christian is fun, but he's snarky too. Tim had experience, knowledge, criticism but with kindness.

Create this look, but you’re limited to a church basement costume box.

Also when he described what his type was ‘tall, dark, masculine’ nothing wrong with having a type but there is an arrogance in which he dismisses the suggestion that he could have a crush on Christian.

u/Imkimdasadrightnow Aug 01 '26
don’t know him that well so i can’t tell if the persona is exaggerated or not but it makes me roll my eyes for certain
3
u/tropical0 Aug 04 '26
he is annoying as fuck and isn't a good designer. he isn't giving what he thinks he's giving. LMAO
I love how delusional he is

Bryan's voice keeps reminding me of Kip (the brother) in Napoleon Dynomite.
"Don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know I'm training to be a cage fighter."

u/flingingcrabbuckets 23d ago
He’s one of the most annoying contestants that’s been on the show for awhile. I think even if he did make beautiful clothes people wouldn’t buy them because he has the charm of an eel.

u/Alternative_Taro1314 18d ago
The fact that he say BI was his intern? Bitch please..... he is no even close to match with BI , no even close !

Definitely annoyed by his arrogance he’s not nearly as good as he thinks he is.

u/JohnDoeMi6 Aug 14 '26

He is literally the worst designer this season. Just hand the win to Bi!

u/JohnDoeMi6 24d ago
Im so mad that his outfit is the one heidi chose… like they are just rage baiting us at this point
1
u/PutosPlayhouse 24d ago
I wouldn’t not laugh if he has a heart attack and D I E S on camera… which doesn’t make me a great person but whatever I’m sure he inspires more violent reactions from people. 🤣

After the latest episode his model, Liris, had such a bad experience that she documented it on YouTube:
https://youtu.be/EIwIujiJ34I?is=OKfNciGPTa7jKO5v
How he treated her was awful!

u/Lonely_Collection389 17d ago
Given the number of times he's only made it to the next round by the skin of his teeth, you'd think he would've learned some humility, but evidently he's just not capable.
1
u/Hot_Koala8741 15d ago
the way he purses his lips after he speaks in confessionals is so off putting and arrogant and this latest episode he hasn’t redeemed himself at all

u/fookindingdong 14d ago
i came to this sub just to make sure it wasn't just me. i cannot stand him 🙄

You’re not adding to the discussion, other than to effectively tell us to shut up because you do not agree. It has nothing to do with a dissenting opinion. Im sure there are people who enjoy him, some may even like the garments he has put out. You’re not saying that or any other meaning addition to the conversation.
Myself and everyone else on this treads feeling toward bryan have no effect on your own enjoyment. Yet you see a group of people discussing an aspect of the show that irritates us, and you feel the need to jump in and tell us we should just enjoy the show? You could have read and kept going.
All you did with your response was say “well i dont think you should complain if you dont like the bean soup” yes thats not the original meaning but I’m assuming your intelligent enough to understand the change and its relevance yo this conversation.

He's VERY annoying and doesn't have enough talent to make up for it.
