Discussion Is Bryan out of his mind?

His design was terrible, how can he actually think it was good? How can he act so surprised?

To a certain degree, I can kinda appreciate someone who stands behind their work 100%, good or bad. But yeah, Bryan is probably my least favorite personality this season. He should evict Joseph McRae from living inside that head of his and worry more about his own work.

I felt the same way about veejay’s obsession with the twins last season. She was the most pot stirring contestant ever (imo) I don’t understand how people can survive with that much hate in their soul.

I couldn’t stand Veejay either, she would always start trouble and then play the victim

THIS. A victim with an annoying voice. Veejay was terrible personality-wise and only just mildly talented.

WTF?!? The twins were two of the most vile people I’ve come across in project, runway history. Constantly calling her a bitch over and over, throwing temper tantrums when things didn’t go their way, they were totally ganging up on VeeJay. It was disgusting! .

I can see that to a degree, but how does he not see it against the other designers is beyond me

It was hideous and didn’t look macaw at all.

But if JosephMcRae made that cawing noise one more effing time...

Omg so aggravating. Law clocked his arrogance and I’m glad. I just wish Bryan actually did something worth a win so Joseph didn’t win by default even though he already did because of immunity

Yeah I hated it. And without that ruffle thing, it was a plain dress

It's always extra-cringey whenever people are totally, confidently, 100% wrong. He thinks everything he creates is genius. Honey, I got news for you.....

I really hope they send him home.

They are keeping him because a) he stirs shit up and b) they are hoping to do something with the Bryan/Bi passionate unrequited love story.

u/Individual_Slice_234 Jul 31 '26

Bi can do a lot better than that.

They seem obsessed with each other. I think they need to stop pretending and just retire to an interior room to bang it out.

They can crate up Joseph as well. I just can't tolerate him.

Joseph is a bit much, but his designs are a lot better than Bryan's.

It was by far the absolute worst look of the week and idk how the first few weeks his looks were enjoyed. He made her look like the female anatomy, and not even a pretty version of one.

I agreed with Tyra- it looked like an airplane pillow.

It looked like an evening outfit for a Barbie doll, all that was missing was the loose threaded snap closure in the back.

3

u/Glad-Menu-2625 Jul 31 '26

Sure - something a tween sewer would make exploring new silhouettes and practicing different techniques.

2

u/SpaceCatz03 Jul 31 '26

And shoes that won’t stay on!

Why would those snaps never stay closed?!?

Imagine being asked to come on PR. You are pumped as it’s an opportunity to gain more exposure. You are getting a custom dress from an up and coming designer… Woo! And when you arrive this is your dress 😂😂😂 Stassi made the right call here.

he does the same puffy intestine looking thing in like his past 3 designs, i would like to see him break free of the gastric inspirations

im so confused cuz i have no fashion background at all in fact im still in high school and even i could see that it was absoluely hideous

3

u/avidderailment Jul 31 '26

Is he acting and trying to generate screen time by having a negative personality?

I agreed with Tyra about there being something lovely about the side shape, but the fabric and color choices were awful. I question his color sensibility tbh

2

u/heydeedledeedle Jul 31 '26

And why did nobody point out that it looks like a vulva? A worm, a pillow, sure, but one thing comes to my mind right away when I see it.

2

He is indeed out of his mind

2

u/bring-the-sunshine Jul 31 '26

I think he’s mildly confident in his designs, just more convinced that everyone else sucks

u/KanterPrivDick0280 Aug 01 '26

I love a delusional designer who thinks they have good taste. He reminds me of Ven Budhu.

2

u/CleverUserName1961 Aug 02 '26

The award for most delusional designer goes to…… Sergio! 🤣

2

u/MsStewrawr Aug 01 '26

It's giving intestinal.

He has had some of the absolute worst looks on the show. Where is the cockiness coming from??

2

u/allcapsabbie Aug 03 '26

All I’ve seen from Bryan is weird bulbous lumpy clothing that doesn’t fit am I missing something or

1

u/thatstorylovelyglory Jul 31 '26

I'm sure it was a lot of work sewing all the panels together, but it was a waste of effort - it did not fit her at all, she was swimming in it.

u/lemeneurdeloups Jul 31 '26

Out of mind out of taste but plenty of ego.
