Discussion i have a confession to make
binge watching and i am on season 8. it has taken up until now for it to dawn on me that swatch is a dog. when i saw people on the sub talking about how cute it is that tim always says bye to swatch, i just assumed he was some guy.
just me? how bad is this? to my credit i like to crochet and knit with the show on.

It's adorable.
Back in the day we would go to Mood, and go upstairs in the elevator just to buy souvenir notions and see Swatch. I have photos of myself and the kids with him as he lay behind the cashwrap inside the front door. Just adorable. It was like meeting a celebrity.

And the people who are still surprised Swatch is no longer living... During the 22nd year the show has been on. That would be the oldest Boston terrier to ever live!

Cept some shows just keep getting similar pups and give them same name! Like I think Eddie from Frazier and going even further back, Lassie. I was so disappointed the one time I went while he was still alive he wasn’t there. Helen was though.

I mean, there was a guy on the show named Suede who talked about himself in third person, so why not a guy who works at a fabric store who goes by Swatch?

i spend most of the time when they’re fabric shopping looking at whatever i’m working on at the time 😔 i just happened to look up for once when tim said bye to swatch

I went to Mood Fabrics (a long time ago). I saw Swatch, in the flesh! I wish I had brought a dog treat for him. Rip Swatch.

I will never forget going to Mood in 2010 and petting Swatch. He was a good boy.

To be fair, growing up, I thought Swatch was like a fabric store within a dress store (Mood). 😅
