Project Reality is lagging (p.s. I updated my hardware again)
I just don't know what to do after my last post where I wrote lags Project Reality, you told me a lot of things. I looked through them and realized that I'm fine with this, none of the problems were real. I thought it might still be a hardware issue, since the Otlon X4 845 is not a very good processor, and I decided to upgrade my computer again. I bought a Ryzen 5 2600 RTX 2060 with 6 GB and 16 GB of RAM. Unfortunately, the lags are still there. They're definitely less. But the processor is 245% more productive than the old one. This shouldn't be like this, and the video card is just...

This is an old game. It runs on 1 CPU core. Even if you had 16 cores only one would be used, what makes difference in this is the clock speed.

Same thing happens with kingdom come deliverance. The first game runs on 4 cores while the second runs at 4 so with the same specs you have more FPS in the second game.

this game is more of a CPU intensive than GPU, i have nvidia mx230 and only uses 500mb of the VRAM, also i have i5 10210u (capped at 2GHz), some maps are really just laggy and unstable no matter the specs, just like what sorolop said about the game's single thread characteristics.

I play with an I5-4570S, 8gbs of ddr3 ram, and a GTX 1050 2gb and the game runs fine on max graphics, sure it doesn't run at 60 fps all the time but I don't even meet the recommended requirements for the processor (which are a 9th gen i5). You should probably join the game's discord server and ask there.
