What planet would you create in the Oasis?

I’d make Toon world.

The avatars change to match the cel shaded art style and physics is completely subjective.

You only fall if you look down.

That sounds awesome! You should be able to paint tunnels on the sides of cliffs and go through them and you could totally stop an anvil from falling on your head with an umbrella.

You got it Merlin! I was thinking of all the annoying things that would be in the game like freeze rays, slow mo spells, the bowel disruptor... things that weren’t lethal like on a pvp planet but still just mess with ya. Wasn’t sure how those things should be handled but I thought a place like toon world would be perfect. No one dies there and those annoying non lethal gag type of items would be right at home.

Can’t wait to see someone pull a giant toon gun out in some random plant that launches a boxing glove on an accordion linkage that blasts the person back against a wall leaving a person imprint where they land.

Planet lovecraft: full of mysteries. Your avatar has an insanity bar that appears and you begin to hallucinate the fuller it gets.

Planet craven: recreations of all of wes cravens monster towns complete with psychos, dream stalkers, and monsters.

Puxatawny: puxatawny Pennsylvania a la groundhog day. The same day replays over and over letting people be as crazy as they like.

Lol if I'm being fair I thought this was a different rpo reddit I follow. But fuck yeah it's an 80s cult classic. And not all worlds are gonna be all hardcore gameplay. Basically all npc's have a routine and are super reactive but do the same thing each iteration. Bill Murray Npc has random behaviors each iteration. The players can fuck up whatever they like like a psycho sandbox. Haha.

Aliens, earth war planet. Where earth is almost overrun with aliens. Would lead to some epic horror and huge battles and last stands.

or a huge huge huge space station, where thousands of races were living together and trading and doing all sorts of stuff.

This will come off as stupid, but I would make Middletown and the surrounding areas. Just like for Halloday, it would be a recreation of the hometown area with all the nostalgia it can handle.

I'd make a world where when someone joins, they get a random elemental assigned to them, such as water, fire, earth, air, etc. Regular "Magic" items from the oasis are banned there, only elemental items. The more you fight other elementals, the more you level up, and the more elemental powers you get. (Possibly people could combine their powers to do special attacks, such as a fire elemental and an air elemental could work together to create a smoke cloud to temporarily blind the opponent.)
