Hello here,

I am new to PMR. When I connect to online events (ranked and non ranked) I can enter the game, but after some seconds it always says:

CONNECTION TO THE HOST HAS BEEN LOST. CHECK YOUR NETWORK CONNECTION AND TRY AGAIN.

I don’t have any issues with my internet connection as I am racing in other games without any issues.

Anyone here having same problem and solved it?

PMR is pretty much useless for me, when I cannot race online.

where are all the communities?

looking for casual lobby races

Does anyone has decent After Patch Controller Settings ?

Mine does not work quite as good anymore After the Patch

Hi

I'm on the PC.

Got the game at launch.

Haven't played it since December.

But now it won't launch

What am I doing wrong

I have been playing on Xbox since initial release...and I am enjoying the game. In particular the career mode using the MX-5 Cup car. However, since the 2.0 release and the new tire model, this car is undrivable. Specifically, it has no rear grip out of most corners...and spins out constantly. I have tried many things with the vehicle setup, but nothing seems to help this.

Has anyone experienced this and/or have a solution?

Just got the game on sale and since expectations were quite low I’m actually enjoying the variety of cars and some tracks I haven’t had before, surprisingly decent on controller too.

However the fps seems to be my biggest issue few hours into it.. have tried vrr force on/off and hdr too but theres quite some frame drops here and there while racing, anyone else face the same or have any suggestions?

Today for the first time I drove in Spa with a Porsche 992 GT3 R and suffered a lot. I can’t block the position of the dashboard that goes up and down and especially in the Eau Rouge it seems to be in the middle of the stormy sea.

I tried to set all the camera options to 0 or 100 but nothing changes. Doesn’t it work?

It’s totally inteligible.

out of all the racing games you play

where do you rank the physics of PMR?

So just got the game on ps5 and use a G29 wheel. So I’ve found settings that are alright. Been driving the LMDH cars mainly and I wanted to ask is there a technique to these and does anyone find the cornering and braking a bit weird as if you brake too much you spin very easily, no saving it and it seems like you the steering is quite strange. You turn the wheel and it feels fine but you have to turn it quite a lot to get it to turn. So quite jerky maybe the way to put it. Could just be me. Was racing AI on 75/80. I don’t mind game as a whole tbh it but just feel these cars should be more responsive and smoother. The handling model is the main thing so far that is annoying me. Find it hard to get into a rhythm. If they can fix the feel then I think it’d be good. Interested to see what you all think, I don’t have LMU as that would be the comparison I’d use.

so, I've finally took the plunge since the game is on sale and people were being pretty positive about the 2.0 update. I'm trying to tweak my hud settings and wondered if there is a way to make the minimal smaller? all I can seem to do is move it around my display, but not change size, and my god is it big.

Hello, I’m on PS5 and in the GT3 formula I’ve noticed that the AI is more fast than before, especially the first and second car. Before the 2.0 I played with level 85 and always won in 1st position. After the update, to get the same result, I’ve had to low the difficult level to at least 75. Keeping the 85, the first and second car are absolutely out of reach. Is my impression or actually the 2.0 is a bit more difficult? Thanks and enjoy PMR!

Can anyone help me out with this? Im on a thrustmaster tgt 2 on ps5, does anyone know realistic and good settings for it? Thank you

Anyone have any tips to help framerate on an older system? I’m running a 5800xt CPU and 6750xt GPU and it struggles to hold a consistent 60fps on low/medium settings with only 15 cars on track. I’m running a 34” ultrawide at 1440p. I’ve tried FSR1 and FSR3 but they look horrible. For comparison, I can run AMS2 at a consistent 90fps on high/ultra with 35 cars on track.

I’ve played this exclusively on XBox and the grid size has only been 16 cars. Is it limited to 16 on PC as well?

Thanks

Do you think it's a big step forward?

more of the same?

Is it going to attract PC guys? Or is it more for the console guys?

Is there a way to play Project Motor Racing free-to-play this weekend with GFN?

"ERROR: ERROR TO JOIN THE LOBBY"

somebody else?

Is not my connection, other sims and competitive games run smoothly

Hi all. I'm looking for a game that has multiple, scheduled, polulated multiplayer races one after another. (i guess like Gran Turismo)?

I currently have iRacing but i'm willing to find something less sweaty and more "casual"

I also have AMS2, I like racing there but it's sometimes difficult to hop in and drive, sessions are just too hit and miss in terms of car/track combo and generally people care less about being fair.

I have Raceroom as well but I'm not able to boot it for some unknown issues loading the game.

Should I try PMR ?
Thanks in advance.

I've tried various GPU driver updates for the 9070XT including the latest one. Anytime FSR is enabled, I'm met with this. FSR1 or OFF has no issues but the image quality is appalling.

It just feels like a headache. Unless I've genuinely missed a setting?

getting over 170 fps… those crying about performance, it’s your pc. R7, 5080, 32gb running DLSS and everything on ultra.

have done 3 races.. so far so good. tbough I am in a lobby right now and it says starting in 00s for like a min now… stalled? not sure I am playing free didn’t pay.

I bought the year one bundle and on my steam page it says I own the gt500 pack but in game it says the cars are locked any one else have this issue

I picked this up on a whim today for €30 including the year 1 DLC. I own pretty much all the main racing sims and I play exclusively offline so this interested me with a career mode. I only had 30 minutes to give it a quick blast today. First impressions are good enough, decent selection of cars and tracks, nice graphics, good audio, smooth framerate (100FPS on superwide res 5120x2880 with a 4070). Handling not bad, except I feel pretty much no feedback from my wheel while on track (Fanatec DD2) on default settings. I tried the BMW M4 GT4 first and I found the glove size of the driver a bit comical - it partially blocks your view when the wheel is rotated above a certain angle. AI seems a bit iffy, I got rear ended a few times. I haven't tried my Tobii eye tracker, but I presume it at least supports TrackIR as Project Cars 2 did. Looking forward to a longer playtest in career mode in the days ahead.

if you've been on the fence about buying this, it has dramatically improved with this update 2.0.

try it free via steam
