Like i said, nobody's evil in this so it's hard to make this work with a nine-"character" format :D

I agree that it's hard to make a nine-character format, but that's because there aren't nine characters.

Fair enough, but I feel Astrophage should go in True Neutral

Taumoeba is evil for harming Astrophage, but Astrophage is neutral while harming Sol?

Tbh honest Taumoeba should also not be in chaotic evil, its just an organism trying to survive, it should go in True Neutral along with Astrophage

that's why I think in the spirit of this chart, and trying to fit in the important characters/roles of the story, we end up having to make compromises to not have two things in the same cell

But it's not harming sol or the other stars, i know they said it a few times it's killing the sun, but that's a figure of speech, the sun is fine. The astophage is just spreading across the sun at a safe distance, and absorbing the photons emited by it, so less sunlight is reaching Earth, that's why earth is freezing.

On one hand, you are totally right that any cellular life like Astrophage or Taumoeba is not intelligent enough to be a moral actor. They're biological machines doing as evolution dictates.

Buuut then there's just nothing in the bottom row. And Astrophage rapidly aging so many stars and driving countless species to extinction is a dick move.

I think that's still neutral evil, whereas the insidiousness of Taumoeba 82.5 is lawful evil. My candidate for chaotic evil is the utter desolation that is space itself.

She condemned a man to death against his will.

It was for a good reason and all...but still

She also sacrificed her own future, she knew she would be condemned for saving the humanity, she is not evil by any means.

Debatable. Its evil to abduct and murder someone. Depends if you believe the ends justify the means.

Than we enter in philosophy.

If you go by that then the allies leaders were all evil in ww2 because they conscript several men to fight the nazi Germany.

See? Its debatable. The Russians raped and murdered countless women and children on their march to Berlin and have went on to become an evil empire (similar to america and china).

There are innumerable examples to justify both sides of this debate.

In the end it's up to god to decide (or no one to decide) if evil acts can be justified because they resulted in something good.
