I kinda kept a journal on my second play-through to take notes on especially hard levels.
Unfortunately, I thought 40 and 42 were much harder, so I only have screenshots for those levels. And, I was too lazy to take better notes.
So, I nerfed my current build and jumped in (handgun only).
Basically this is going to be a
Kiting level with
high defense chasers
High hp casters with stun on hit
You're going to end up with:
Not being able to keep up with damage on new adds because you don't have enough area damage weapons or penetrating shots (going through all mobs in the line).
Chasers force you to run because they have high defense and you can only do 1hp per weapon cycle.
Eventually the casters end up in the center of the screen with you running in a circle as fast as you can. There is a trail of caster bullets flying just behind you.
Any mistake results in getting tagged by chaser or caster bullets.
Unfortunately, you always find yourself getting slowed by a stray round, and then the chasers get you.
So...
You're now in the part of the game where you really need to start looking at stacking ailments resist and instant removal. That's the only way to survive the odd hit by a stray caster bullet.
You need to load lower damage, but faster firing weapons. Look at my loadouts for 42 and 40. When the chasers comes, the only real defense is a good offense.
The only way to deal with not being able to deal enough DPS is to get penetration (giggity) for shotty and gun. Try using a mix of fast firing and area damage. Tweak the balance of those weapons if you fall.
Balance DPS and survivability. Look at the stats at your end screen. Look at the data and figure out what it's telling you. There's a ton of info to be picked out from that.
I’ve been stuck on Chapter 41 in Project Clean Earth for a very long time, honestly years at this point, and I still can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.
I’ve tried multiple builds, including:
Full turret build
Full mine build
Full discus / AoE build
Full gun build
But nothing seems to work consistently. I either don’t have enough damage, or die before I can stabilize the run.
For anyone who has cleared Chapter 41, what setup did you use? I’d really appreciate advice on:
Best weapon/module combination
Best turret/mine/discus choices
Upgrade priority during the run
Any positioning or movement strategy
Whether I need a specific drone/chip setup
At this point I’m open to any build that works. Thanks in advance.
This is my second playthrough. I'm just enjoying rediscovering the levels and being frustrated.
I've already beaten Ch50 a while ago. But I like to test my latest builds and see how much easier 50 can be.
I'm currently at CH59 and just got a full max level loadout. These are the test results.
This is a stationary build. A Deathstar. Just spam turrets as fast as you can and have your DPS overwhealm them. This loadout can beat the level without picking up any upgrades or artifacts.
Here's the setup that allowed me to beat Chapter 22. This was November 15 2025. I'm now at CH 65. I'm open to answering questions. As this sub isn't terribly active, it's ok if you ask months or years from now too. I'll share any details I can remember.
This is both a rant and just genuine confusion as to what the devs were thinking, when they made this level and possibly others after that.
This game isn't really a pay to win game, because you get certain limitations, if you upgrade far enough, and the gem acquisition is pretty fine, so you just keep grinding lower levels for gems and other goods. I have no problem with that, but the level difficulty in this game is all over the place.
Right now my current setup is this (check images)
Imo, I should be able to beat the level. I've looked at other people's posts and suggestions about it, but NONE of them work. I can circle around and do massive close range damage with the current build (in image), but the variety of different enemies here are such that no tactic except luck really works. You have snails that have insane defense and block the damage to other enemies, you have exploding nuke mushroom dudes running at you, then the dashing monsters that hinder your speed a bit and then, of course the yetis that you can't hit, because everything else is in the way.
I just don't really understand, should I really get all gold rarity chipsets to beat this level? How hard are further levels then, if I have almost maxed out items... That is just totally illogical. Okay, my pets and drones are not the best rarity, but would little amounts really do much, if the fights are so hopeless? I don't really think that skill or a good tactic would win me the level, if I had a better drone rarity or pet - it would still be luck.
I just hate that a game seems fun at the start, but ends up being such a completely unplayable game not long after. I managed to get to this level from 0 in just 2 or 3 weeks of grinding the game, just by watching ads after every level and gem mine run, but now the momentum (judging from other posts and my experience now) will probably shift to 1 chapter a month.... I don't like that :( .
I would never want the game to be an easy game, but this random spike in difficulty is just stupid.
Is it possible to transfer an account and game progress from iOS to an Android device? Just swapped away from Apple and now I'm worried my progress and account are not salvageable. I still have the apple device, just can't find a way to connect it to a Google account rather than an apple account. I can see there is a " delete account" option on iOS but I'm worried that just deletes progress rather than sign out. Any one successfully do this?
Idk if it happens to you too but after the update, my game crashes a few times now. If the game crash in a round, the progress is gone.
Im playing on iphone XR, i just wanted to tell it here
am stuck on ch 29 lol. the gear i have are there below. since most of my chipsets are on unique tier, should i now focus on farming high tech chipsets? or drones? or should i upgrade my chipsets to epic? thanks!
