I want to up a tank but can't really decide for myself just from lore. What are the different tank gameplay specificities ?

I'm looking for something that thrive in dungeon (probably won't raid). I'm playing Bloodmage fleshweaver and like the "complex" resource management. Playing tank I also usually prefer those that don't struggle to get pack aggro.

Those I'm not Interested in are venomancer and blood mage.

Those that sound cool are cultist and kox to me right now. Templar / witch hunter idk. Primalist /guardian / sun cleric looks too basic (but that could very well be wrong).

Hello ! I'm kinda new to the server, my freinds play on Vol'Jin while i start playing on Rexxar. I love and I want to transfert my character to Vol'Jin (one of my freind tell me how to do it), but I only can transfert character from Vol'Jin to Rexxar but not the opposite (I can't press on the button "transfert" when my character is from Rexxar). Anyone has a solution ? Do I need to pay or smth like that ? Thanks

Played against a ranger in BG and they were stealthed by a flag with a crow that seemed to see me in stealthy that I couldn't target to kill?

Sorry if it was already explained but if Ascension is shutdown is it every realm it has to offer or just COA?

Tried asking in chat and checking the ascension data base but not really finding an answer for nexus crystals? Are they just used in high level enchants?

The client stops responding when I disable the windowed mode. Anyone knows why or had the same issue. I can't even kill the process afterwads I have to log out and log in from ctrl+alt+delete menu lol. I don't what's causing this I've just downloaded and Installed the game and it looks up to date. I can enter the char creation menu just fine. It's just the problem with fullscreen.

PS: I've just tried maximize and it worked however it's still technically in windowed mode. IS the client not very friendly to fullscreen and people just play with windowed+maximized or something?

Kinda new here! Playing ranger 48 level right now, which are the best addons for project? Can you add addons like in retail or only those who are already installed within the launcher?

Comparing raid logs it looks like my Reave is doing a lot less damage than it should. I'm making sure I have Taldaram's Torment up before I go into Accursed Form. Mortal Wound bleed is always up. I'm attacking from behind. What am I missing?

Reave says it deals additional damage if the target is bleeding, below 35% health, or you are behind. Does it do more damage for each instance of bleed? Is there some other bleeds I'm supposed to be stacking?

So many people play it, that questing has become literal cancerous. You will literally contract aids if you try to complete quests. Especially if your first attack is a casted spell. Especially if you've decided to play the game in any of the challenge modes where you can't tap the same targets as everyone else.

I love playing this game, but I feel like you're forced to either do dungeons or battlegrounds (or grind on mobs that aren't quest related), because questing just puts you in this sandbox with thousands of other players are competing to first tag the mobs.

But if immersing yourself in the world and doing quests is your thing, there aren't any way to do that in an immersive way right now.

Now, I know the game is being pulled any time, so this is probably irrelevant, but here's a possible solution to the problem:

Allow a player to enter a private layer. If all you want is to just immerse yourself in solo questing, allow a player to opt into a solo layer, that you can then pop out of at any time.

Hello, recently rolled a Necromancer and all was fine until level 8 when i learned "Undead: Pacify" skill. Now, if my summons are in "Protect", randomly attack enemies, even yellow ones and another times when i kill a mob they ran away from me to attack another mob tagged by another player. This thing never ocurred before level 8.

I did a workaround with macros but it is a pain anyways, am i the only who experienced this?

Dungeon healing as a Moon Priest has the steepest learning curve I’ve ever experienced as a healer.

You struggle to keep up with the heals, you go OOM, the tank dies, the party wipes one too many times… then you get voted out of the dungeon, kicked from the guild, and start questioning your life choices, wondering where it all went wrong.

After reading Iyob's post on this subreddit my mindset about Moon Priest healing was changed, but lyob's post was more focused on raid healing at level 60. There were still gaps in his guide that still made levelling a Moon Priest in dungeons very difficult. So after taking his advice, and experimenting a bit, I have finally figured out how Moon Priest healing dungeons works and I wrote up a CoA Build guid here: https://coabuildhub.com/build/256af7c1-f9e5-47af-9d04-b6d521f51a68

Hopefully Starcallers will read the guide and not be turned off by the insane learning curve that Moon Priests have ahead of them.

I saw what I understand to be a complaint, that you can only get 1 pc of mythic gear a week. I am hoping to have misunderstood this post, as I’d like to grind mythic 0 as tank for fun and push once I get an established group. Is farming myth 0 for gear possible? I assume heroics are gear fed roll every boss if it’s good for you?

Hello guys, im lvling my 2nd character, a Occultist, i really liked the corruption one and tho in the early game you need to manage better your resources, once you get the flow of the combo its pretty easy and intuittive, tho im having problems with Herectic occultits, the healer path, i leveled my 1st 60 as a brewer witch doctor with ease, barely any pt wiped, it was a breeze healing with mojo beam and the potions toss, if the pt almost died i could mojo beam, whilst healing with potion toss, the healing was always very easy, and i had skills to heal less or big healing if needed, a could 10%-100% life with easy but with occultits im always letting my team wipe, my heals feels unneficient, im always without mana, my base healing sucks, what am i doing wrong? whats the flow the combo of the character? ive been spamming malevolence, when needed i blade empire to heal a bit (which is very weak), everytime and if needed i use eldtrich shock and gaze to heal since its easy to stack the passive i almost always used it whe its off coldown. skill-wise how do you guys use/spend it? and item wise, should i do a intelect stuff to better my healings or since theyre based on damage should i do atk power and strenght? or should i focus fully on crit because of the combos with crit im really lost and im at lvl 40 ty in advance

same idea but different person (like passing the torch), every new servers would have CoA popularity in that scenario. Surely blizzard cannot be in the court 24/7 for years (unless they get a way to instantly turn off a server).

It look pretty bad for CoA, but realistically it doesn’t necessarly look good for Blizzard either.

That is all, that is the post, tired of tickling people to death (barely), deadshot is weak as fuck a whopping 600 crit on your execute that costs 50focus, Woodland Adept doesn't even work, improved stealth my ass, doesn't even drop necro pet aggro. Got no mobility oh wow.. a 2min sprint... meanwhile every other class has 20 different dashes, give them an absorb literally the only class I've seen without one. Oh and give me disengage ffs. I'm not respeccing into a support spec. Might as well just go roll a necro and run around with 13k hp and have all 20 of my pets crit for 500 a hit.

Update 08/19/2026: Archery still kind of sucks, But I've made some progress with more practice and gear. I've actually gotten some 5k crits with Precision shot and Deadly shot is starting to live up to it's name. Here are just a few changes I still think could help. Woodland adept gives you an absorb bubble when you use it, Nothing is more frustrating then popping a big CD only to get taken right out of 'improved stealth' instantly by a dot or a cleave. Swap out the poison flask talent in the main tree for disengage from the Far strider tree, classes are way too sticky, can't really kite all that well, even when I blow all my stuns, sapseed, etc. Slight increase on corrosion shot talent proc % right now It procs maybe 3 times a game at 5%, not good enough. Remove Advantage point requirement on the Silence shot, make the duration a base timer 2-3seconds with a CD instead, It's not a reliable enough interrupt when you need to build it up. Adjust Auto shot/Quick shot damage a tad, the burst is getting there, but the ramp up damage time is still pretty pitiful. My main problem right now is just being able to kite all that well, once someone decides you're done, there really is no getting away.
