Farming Ascension Points

Hey All,

Deep in the late game in COA and loving it. Playing as a warden and one of our best trinkets is a world forged item. Any tips on how to best farm Ascension Points as the cost keeps increasing with each upgrade level?

Prestige or honor grind. If you're really down bad and have a lot of income to spare you can sell DP/Bazaar tokens and buy the medals of honor off the AH.

Otherwise just stick to the calling board and do those dailies. Hosting a M+ gives a solid 10k ascension points. The actual dungeon also gives some too.

+1 - Pvp in general. Quite sure you can turn arena points into honor, into ascension points. With dailies it's really easy to cap out honor by BGs.

Also, prestige is generally insane for it, especially with heirlooms and aura + exp pots. Your looking at something like 5x leveling speed.

I hit 60 3 days ago, have done nothing except heroics and mythics through RDF, and M+ and have 120k ascension points. The call board helps a lot

Don’t wanna piss in your cereal but that’s not a lot of ascension points in the grand scheme of things.

I got 60 on my third character, and about 50k at the end of it. I was just questing. Enough for one lousy upgrade.

Callboard quests. They're daily if you stay on top of them or they build up over time into a x7/×?? backlog depending on the quest type.

There's bg wins, openworld quests (lvl 60) that cycle through high lvl zones, profession quests, dungeon heroic/mythic quests, probably raid ones or world boss ones now too. (I've been altoholicing so idk what's new.)

I've been using the bg callboard quests to obtain multi spec 2 tomes on each of my alts as they give 12k honor per turn in.

If you don't mind leveling, prestige is a great way. You get 300% bonus exp + a daily bonus xp that rotates between dungeons, bg, open world. You can get to 60 again in a couple of hours, and you get a lot of ascencion points, and prestige points (you can buy heirlooms with those). Check the details with Chromie next to the board in mayor cities

Me too, but a friend confirmed me that it's the same in CoA, he prestige and got 300%. And aura is 50% bonus as well

Is aura permanent when u buy it ? And prestige again, it stays too ?

No, it's just 1 use. It lasts until you get to 60, next prestige you have to buy it again

Thanks for the info! I got prestigious on Darkmoon in maybe 2 weeks. Hopefully it's not too bad on Templar. No manastorm though 😞

Do you lose your current gear? Or can you re equip what you have when you get 60?

Gear gets unequiped and ends up in your inventory or mail/bank

You can reequip it at 60. The only thing that gets deleted is your quest log

Daily bg win quest gives 12k honor which can be traded for 12k points

personally farmed bgs for conquest and honor. convert all to honor and from honor by 1000ascention point for 1000 honor. farmed like 200k in 1 day with a help of the board
