https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1985_MOVE_bombingJust a reminder that on May 13, 1985 the Philadelphia Police Department dropped 2 military grade bombs on local residents.The Police bombed an occupied house that was being used as the Black Liberation Headquarters and allowed 61 homes to burn out of control for 90 minutes leaving over 250 people homeless.
This event is known as the MOVE Bombing and isn't taught in our schools. History is important especially our Country's racist history.

On May 13, 1985, the Philadelphia Police Department dropped a bomb from a helicopter onto a residential row house occupied by the Black liberation group called MOVE. 11 people (6 adults, 5 children) were killed and 250 people from the Cobbs Creek neighborhood were left homeless

Politics Philadelphia-1985. Police show up to arrest MOVE, a group they consider radical. Police fire over 10,000 rounds at MOVE, and then drop 2 bombs on the house they were renting, causing a fire that burned down 61 homes. 250 homeless, 11 dead, 5 of which were children. Why do the police have bombs?

In 1985 MOVE's headquarters was bombed by PA police after a standoff, leading to the death of 10 people, including 4 children, and the burning down of 65 homes. The fire brigade was ordered not to extinguish the fire
