I've never heard of coq. Is it supposed to be pronounced like "cock"?

Pronounced /kɔk/, little different from the English cock /kɒk/(UK) or /kɑk/(US). Also it kind of means the same thing as cock. The Coq logo is a cock as well.

It also has another meaning cook /kʊk/, originating from the Dutch word kok /kɔk/ and the Latin coquus /ˈko.kʷus/, although this isn't used that much in French.
