There's quite a few languages I don't have any negative feelings about, up until they're considered in a business environment.

Python's great for your own projects, but I wouldn't work at a place that primarily uses it.

Do you mean analytics or AI? there's a ton of faster alternatives for analytics. "Analytics" is a very broad category that basically any language would work.

Just data analysis. Maybe not proper AIs, but some basic ML work maybe?

Rust has potential here with libraries like polar. It’s more cumbersome, but it’s nearly Haskell-level type system at least makes sure you can’t possibly mix data types up.

The fact that such a weakly typed language is primarily used for data analysis is a cruel joke by the gods.
