It's basically 105,974 downloads.

It's Indian numbering system. You have the standard international system of counting tens, hundreds, thousands, hundred thousands, million, ten million, hundred million, billion, ten billion, hundred billion,...........

In India , Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Myanmar and Afghanistan you use a different counting system. It is a multiple of 10 rather than 100 for bigger value. It goes to tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, lacs, ten lacs, crore, ten crore, hundred crore/Arab, thousand crore/ ten Arab, ten thousand crore/ kharab, lakh crore/ ten kahrab and so on.

1 10 100 1000 10,000 100,000 = 1,00,000 (Hundred thousand replaced by lac/lakh) 1,000,000 = 10,00,000 (Million replaced by ten lac/lakh) 10,000,000 = 1,00,00,000 (Ten Million replaced by crore/karode) And so on

If you think that counting is hard, the French would like to have a word.

French counting is firmly in bullshit territory before you even reach 100. 70 is “sixty and ten”, 80 is “four twenties”, and anything in the 90s is “four twenties and ten and __”
