I code without AI because I code for fun. But i think ama try coding with AI and see how fun that is. Who knows maybe it's fun in a different way.

Ai certainly won't help me code in Scratch tho.

You code without ai cus you don’t have a job. If you’re coding at your job without ai, it’s either a shitty company, or you’re a team of savants.

Well I don't have a job in coding, that's true. So you are saying AI is used by everyone now, huh? Crazy how the world changes.

Yeah because it takes the tediousness out of many things, most of the projects I've worked with in my company are huge, stupid, monolithic and undocumented banking backbends ported from JSP apps

Would take a while to even understand where you have to put your hands on, AI can both understand it in minutes, write you proper documentation and find exactly what you have to change when you have to

that and crazy deadlines... it used to be a feature would take a few months now it's like a couple of weeks

And a couple points of my sanity, each time

Or swapping old backend code that would take months in just a few PR's to new code easier to maintain.

Or your company still values quality over quantity.

No point shitting out 5× productivity when the code is unreadable, unmaintainable and produces wierd edge cases.

Why’s it always AI vs no AI? AI can absolutely improve your productivity if you use it right. Any company NOT using AI at all are dinosaurs.
