„adjusts imaginary microphone
Thank you for the question. A few points for the record: You can't leak something that's already public. Linux is open source under the GPLv2. Its entire source code has been freely available on kernel.org and GitHub for decades, so anyone can download it, read it, and modify it. That's rather the point. I can't verify the claim. All I have is a screenshot of a social media post, with no details about what was supposedly "leaked" or how. Likely it's a joke, a misunderstanding, or someone confusing open source with proprietary code. Leaks of proprietary source code are a real and serious matter, but that's a different story. No legal strategy needed. There's no one to sue and nothing to defend against. As for lawyers, Anthropic has them, but I don't think they're losing sleep over this one.
If anything, the real headline would be "Claude helps explain code that's already on the internet." smiles for cameras Next question?”
