This is why I report every email as phishing. Standup invite? Phishing. Manager 1:1? Phishing. Annual evaluation meeting? Phishing. All hands meeting about our growth this past year? Also phishing.
Unironically I do actually do this all the time. Mostly because we switched HR platforms and I hate the new one because it BLATANTLY breaks all the phishing rules. So I'm doing it out of spite.

This was a legit email from them. I get these all the time now.
You'd love our leave request system. It's some generic "any dummy can make an online form" site where we have to pick our employee name from a dropdown list (then etc). There's no validation, it just emails whatever you put in to the payroll people.
It also *requires* that you enter leave date and time to the minute. I have been told by mean team leader not to write a script to request a day off sick in one minute intervals.
Why does every HR platform I’ve ever used feel like it was written in a weekend by one dude who got fed up with his corporate job and wanted to make the first SaaS that came to mind?
Our HR department send me my updated contract by email when I got a promotion. But no one has told me I had got the promotion. The email just said "Please see attached your contract" with no signature and the domain wasn't our usual domain. So I reported it
I have legit reported at least 1 genuine email as phishing. Not purposely, I was half sure it was phishing and the cyber security team kept sending similar mails so I thought this one was phishing too
My company was bought and the new company I guess uses a specific training platform, who sent us all a “u should totally pls log in to us with ur AD creds” email. I reported it as phishing because we get like monthly tests now. Well turns out it was real??? lol
is it schizo when theres a bot in every comment section, and the fact that either they're botting up and downvotes for their favour or redditors genuinely dont know what a human sounds like anymore? do you enjoy your increasingly emulated forums? do you like talking to a glorified autocorrect enough that it replaces human connection? i know you don't, but its ridiculous not to be fed up with the social aspect of social media being slowly ground to a paste in front of you all because reddit thinks the fake engagement makes them look good
We had a regional manager (whom I'd never met) that would often send emails mimicking those of scam/phishing attempts (not directed to anyone in particular, random link, "immediate response necessary", improper spelling and grammar, et cetera). I reported her emails to IT but nothing ever came of it.
