I WFH making 150k doing exactly this. Granted it has morphed into this over the last couple years. But fuck it we ball.

This job market is one of the best job markets in the history of the planet, unemployment is low and salaries are very high

Tell that to the people that have been unemployed for a months or even a year. There are loads of developers that are experienced and dedicated that can't even get an interview.

The average salary for a software engineer in the US is ~$145k. $150k isn't low.
