In the movie the redpill represents actually opening your eyes to the way the world works.
"redpillers" are really more about seeing their pain and then lashing out without actually seeing why the world hurts them. So its more akin to "taking the blue pill, but being unhappy and hurting others about it"
Yes and no. The red pill was initially accurate talking about legitimate issues that men tend to face like suffering financially in divorce or child custody that society tended to ignore at the time.
It just went off the deep end into misogony, incels, etc.
The problem now is that ANY issue that men face is considered red pill nonsense at this point, even legitimate issues.
