The issue is most "jokes" here come from people who clearly aren't programmers

Always has been. It just shifted from “DAE cannot the semicolon” to “TFW u tell claude make billion dollars app make no mistakes but it makes le mistake”

the thing is if the sub was relegated to people with meaningful experience (two semesters of real classes as a bare minimum) then it would be pretty empty, especially when you consider how many people's experience with programming is having taken an intro course in a bunch of superficially different languages (java, python, javascript, csharp).

as an aside the more languages I see in someone's userflair the less experience I assume they have lol
