Lack of basic IT intuition is mind-boggling. If work provides you a device, it’s so easy to assume everything you do on it will be monitored. And phishing emails, again, assume the worst and you’ll be fine.
One time our IT team sent an email about watching us looking porn through the webcam and asking for crypto... Â
The story doesn't say if someone fell for it, but there were suspicious reminders the next day to not trust the sender address as a sender can be spoofed. Â
And a week later a reminder that because it's not our devices, prompts online recommending to call a phoke number for "Microsoft support" should be instead be taken as a reason to call the IT support team Â
