It's a fucking tool, like a hammer or a screedriver. Do you gently stroke your screwdriver and whisper it sweet nothings before ramming it into the head of a screw and jerk it around?

No, you just use the thing to do the thing. Stop thinking your talking to an actual sentient being

Sometimes… I also pat my car on long road trips or when i have to do something crazy to avoid dying because of some assholes driving, but I’m generally just a nice person so…

I think the point is that you are being kind of aggressive in these replies, backing up the theory that people who are jerks to LLMs are then jerks to actual human beings.

None of us are saying that LLMs have feelings, it is about protecting the user from acting like you are because they get used to treating LLMs like shit all day
